    1. 1993 — I was a student. We were in the opposite end zone from where Georgia was trying to win the game with only seconds left. Zeier dropped back and we couldn’t really see what was happening — we just saw the Georgia fans go ballistic. Then, suddenly, they stopped and the Gator fans went ballistic. Anthone Lott had called timeout. We stopped them on the next play and won. We were soaked and delirious!

    2. Still a student and we traveled to Athens and hung 52 on them. We were in the end zone where Doering caught back to back to back TD’s on practically the same play (the first two were called back) to break 50. It was awesome.

    3. Was also at the revenge game where Tebow broke Herschel’s record and Meyer called TO twice at the end to make Richt sit there and think about what he did — other than 52 - 20 it’s the best revenge game ever!

For me it was the 1984 game - growing up and experiencing 'Run Lindsey' and watching us get steamrolled every year by Herschel Walker - this was like finding a glass of cold water in the middle of the desert.

Bell to Nattiel for 96 yards to the house - after our defense made a historic goal line stand on the 2 yard line for 4 straight plays - could not describe the feelings of joy and exhilaration felt while watching this game.

2008, the 49-10 pounding revenge for that pathetic team gathering after their first TD the year before.

The TO game was great as was ‘93.
‘90 was a blowout but it was clear that day there was a new sheriff in town.

My personal fave though was 2002. Beyond the fact that it was a big upset and really stuck in UGA’s craw, and there was that awesome moment after we fired the go ahead TD/2pt conversion and the whol team got together on the sidelines and were bouncing. The entire UF side was in their feet screaming, and we made sure Sri ht’s first game with us didn’t swing the momentum.
But I had been in a serious accident a few months before. I planned my whole recovery to be able to make it to that game. Even when I couldn’t walk yet, that was the focus. And I made it with a whole group of friends from UF. Actually got a ticket from someone here.

    2019.

We knock them out of CFB running, gain a clear path to Atlanta, start turning the tide on recruiting head-to-head with em.

1984. Was a senior that year. First GA game live. Only time I have been on a field after the game.

I remember sitting in CJ's (Jax) after the game and someone would yell "How many points did FL score"? and the whole area would yell "27!" Then they would yell "How many points did GA Score"? The whole bar would put their hand to there ear and listen for a response that never came.

What was the name of the poster that would share the photo of him sitting on the goal post after the Gators fans had torn it down in 1984?

I was a student sitting in the end zone. We then stormed the field. One of many great Gator football moments in my life.

2008 because I was there. Spent the night before in Kingsland GA and went out to eat. There was a cocky bulldog fan going over to every table asking if we were going to the game, and said how he thought it would be very competitive and that UF seemed like they had a team that could keep the score close with UGA's high powered offense... UMMMMMMMMMM yea bro, it was close for the coin toss, then all the red and black went back into the holes they came out of, so the rest of us could paint the Jacksonville night Orange and Blue!

1984 & 1994 "Tween The Hedges"... With the score 45 - 12, SOS asked a stat guy what were the most points scored against the pups in Athens.. He was told 50. He then put the first team back in to score another TD to beat the record!! Love it..

1984 and it’s not even close. I was a Soph in HS, so the only thing I knew and experienced about the rivalry up to the point was loss & heartache. To blow them out like that and dominate from start to finish was beyond anything I experienced before as a fan. There have only been 4 or 5 moments since then that rival the feeling I had that day.

The mud game was my favorite. Forgot about that play. Funny but all I remember is Rhett and the mud.

Anyone go the year before? Maybe ‘91, I went to about 4 in a row. It was warm all day and got super cold. I had shorts and a tshirt on. Had to buy bootleg gator gear and a blanket. Upper level, 30 degrees with 40 mile an hr wind off the river. Man I froze!!:eek:
