I like those honorable mentions. Wish I'd seen all of those guys including Ronnie Williams to make a truly educated opinion, I do admit it's a generational bias with my list. From all I've heard about Moten you could slide him in over Wilbekin.

Moten was a lot quicker and probably a bit more athletic than Wilbekin, but had a lot less size. I think he could have defended those quicker UConn guards that Wilbekin struggled with, but who really knows.

No Christian Dyjer ? Or Jose Ramos? Cesar Portillo?

On a serious note, I think Neal Walk, as a jr and sr in college, would have started even today. He was 6-11, with moves and could score / rebound with the best.

I also think Andrew DeClerq was highly under rated.

Christian Dreier is one of the all-time what-ifs. What if he didn't have the foot injury, what if the doctors didn't make it worse, what if he had been an American player so he was patient and stayed while they fixed it. So much potential and got completely derailed.

Better question, who would be the coach? Not the current one or even the previous one, as they shortened their bench...should have been fired.

Guess it's Captain Ahab....he got the most out of working the bench! (I mean, walking the plank.)

Moten was running the point for part of my years at UF. A superior player, but if I get to choose a floor general going up against a top opponent, I take Scottie every time.

The best PG we ever had does not have his name in the record books at all.

Best PG I have seen as a Gator was J Will. Even though it wasn't even a full season he was incredible.
2 guard: Beal, but Mad Max was really good. While I love him Lee Hump is not in the same conversation.
3: Was Mike Miller a 3 or a 2? If he was a 3, he is my pick. If not, Brewer. If Skinny was a 2 I would put him behind Bradley and ahead of Vernon, but it is a really close call.
4: Horford and nobody else even close.
5: Probably Walk, but Noah was special and so was Dwayne S.

I would take Kruger as the head coach.

BD was awesome, but Lon did a lot with a lot less talent. Could BD have taken the talent that Lon had in 1994 to the Final Four? I think not.

BD was a MUCH better recruiter. He would have hauled in Vince Carter.

It's sarcasm, making fun of a certain poster who said our UT win further confirmed that Mike White should be fired, as it showed he should have been playing the end of the bench more.

Any starting five that omits Dan Cross is tough to accept IMHO.

Smooth and solid on both ends of the floor!!
Big reason why UF basketball made it's first Final Four run.

To be honest perhaps the smoothest and effortless stroke I've been lucky to see in person.
