Continued prayers for you Ray, for a speedy recovery.

What's the matter with people these days, Ray?
They probably never heard of IOWA and it’s Corn Fields.
how you feeling /doing? (If this is you and not your brother posting.
It’s me and I’m in a rehab facility for about 3 weeks now. I am wearing a very HEAVY neck brace. Can’t move my neck as I’ve fractured it on both sides. Only God knows how long this will all last. I’m tired of having pain and wearing a heavy neck brace. I must have been a not very good guy as God will not heal me yet. Appreciate everyone’s Prayers. Wish everyone the best on here.
And as always has been and always will be, “IT’S GREAT TO BE A FLORIDA GATOR! First in the family and since age 5 ! Yes, that’s true!
Thanks for the update Ray. Makes my arthritis seem insignificant. I will ask my wife to contact all the ladies in her group to pray. When they get going you will have so many prayers it will make the Pope jealous. Get well soon.
Keeping you covered in prayer Ray- God has not forsaken you Ray- unfortunately what you are going thru is just part of the aging process- but Jesus has gone before you to prepare a place for you in His Father's home.
You and I both are in the "Old Fart Gators" club (I'm 78). I've been following my beloved Gators since I was a kid of 6. I have been praying for you off and on for quite some time now. I love our Lord just as I know you do. Ray, God will never put anything on you that you can't bear. But he will send trials our way to teach us endurance. I have no balance when I first get up each day but it gets better as the day goes on. I have a feeling that my trials are waiting down the road.
Ray, God loves all his children; not because we are wonderful people but because we are in Christ His son. It's not about being good. It's about recognizing that we are sinners and that Christ died for us to bear our sin. It's all paid for Ray; past, present and future. Draw close to the Savior, Ray. In Him you will find the strength to bear what comes your way. Ray, Christ loved you and me when we were yet sinners and He went to the cross for us when we were still sinners. That is love beyond understanding. Sorry for the long post. I just want you to know that in the love of Christ you will find the answer to your fears and doubts. You and I are nearing that time when we leave this tired old world and enter in to a joy and newness of life that is unspeakably wonderful. Look up and look forward knowing that the best is yet to come. I'm praying for relief of pain for you and that the perfect will of God will be revealed in your heart and mind. Thoughts and prayers old Gator friend.
Any hawt nurses there, Ray?
Well, not really. One nice one so far.
I'll admit, I'm still learning about life and experiences. But what I have seen so far. I don't think any deity cares if you've been good or not.I've seen some of the kindest, gentlest and nicest or best people I've ever known suffer so much for nothing. I do hope healing comes your way soon. Be strong Ray as this life isn't done with you yet.
In our thoughts and prayers
I know that prayer works after all that I have been through the past year and a half. Lost both sisters, cancer battle with four hospital stays and permanent ileostomy, and lost both parents in December. I kept finding out about many different people praying for me.
Every time I started getting to the woe is me phase I found out about someone else worse off than me, added them to my prayer and focused on them not me. I woke up many times in the middle of the night and couldn't go back to sleep so I would start praying through my list. It didn't take long before I was back to sleep because I feel satan did not want me praying. God knew who I was praying for and you were/are part of my prayers. That is how I have made it through to this point so far.
I am praying for your recovery and the removal of the pain you are going through.
Love that picture! Young guys get to have all the fun. Not fair!
Better days ahead my friend.
Well, to most of them they think of IOWA as “Flyover Country”, as they fly from New York to California and back. I forget the name of the movie but several years ago it featured on baseball players who were from IOWA.
