Booker continues to impress. He’ll start pulling away once the field starts narrowing. Well, maybe.

They are all bad. Maybe Bloomberg will improve the cast.

I didn't cast a vote for president in 2016 because I was convinced that the Clintons are corrupt sleazeballs, and I was convinced that Trump had a personality disorder. I think I was right on both accounts.

I hope I can find someone to vote for this time.

I can appreciate the fact that you didn't see a candidate you liked. I suspect you could judge both candidates equally offensive because neither one posed any direct threat to you.

But did it ever occur to you that your vote could still be a shield for those that don't enjoy all your protections? This isn't an academic question. Trump promised to make life hell for refugees, immigrants, Muslims and (through his Southern Strategy language) African Americans. He made clear he didn't think our traditional alliances (e.g, NATO, Ukraine, Kurds) were important. In that respect, he was as good as his word. Now we have 200,000+ screened refugees who've been denied the chance to settle in America. Thousands of immigrant families have been torn apart, some of whom will never be reunited. Thousands of grad students from Muslim countries have been denied entry and the ability to study in US universities. Ukrainian soldiers continues to be killed by Russian invaders and 2 million Syrian Kurds were left to flee before their enemies when they bore the the brunt of the fight against ISIS. Of course that doesn't even cover our fellow LGBT citizens who are under constant attack to mollify Trump's white Evangelical supporters.

I have to ask, is your political piety so important to you that you're willing to let all these people suffer just because the Democratic candidate isn't exactly what you want?

But it is more entertaining with Billion Dollar Biden, Spartacus and a woman who probably believe Stars Wars is a documentary.

At least Booker imagines friends. Our current POTUS has none. Just people he can use and discard when they are not needed.

I’m pretty solid on Warrem as my #1. I’m trying to figure out who #2 is. I’m looking at Booker on City’s recommendation. In the end it may not matter. I’ll probably vote Warren in the primary and the go all in for whoever is the Democratic nominee.

I voted for Reagan, Bush 41 and even Bob Dole back in the day. I find it hard to see myself ever voting for a Republican again.
