Will our 2025 season be as bad as FSU last season?

I'm wondering when this was compiled? Before the season when FSU was considered a 2-10 team?

 

Well, that depends on if our Gators can beat Billy Napier or not

 

That’s on the field issues imo.
Off the field issues are 33 arrests in 3 years or whatever it was under Meyer.
Napier needs to completely get out of the on field play.
Be a cheerleader. Don’t wear a headset. Be like a 75 year old Bobby Bowden. He’s completely incompetent and overwhelmed.
But he can do off the field stuff.

Could be worse. Upside 3 wins. Low side 1 win. The sad thing is we could have won tonight but 5 interceptions was too much to overcome. And since Napier is hardheaded, the future looks bleak.

 

This team is talented and we have a QB problem and have the toughest schedule for the 2nd year in a row and it is probably harder this year, because even Vandy is a monster.


All three games our offense has struggled with DJ at QB. With better QB play we are probably 3-0 right now.

If they let Napier finish this season he will go down as the losingest coach in UF history

Lots of talent ont his team, but an offense that everyone sees coming. Even when it is working it is so slow and tedious that the inevitable minor setback breaks any momentum.

We will be lucky to get two more wins, but even those are up in the air.

 

Seasons like this are why I don’t talk a lot of smack to other programs when they are down.

 

Still thinking UF can win 6-7 games?

 

Sorry to say but FSUs main issue last year was that DJU was a horrible QB and the two dudes behind him weren’t much better. We seem to be following the same trajectory although jury is still out on the latter.

The difference at this point is that Norvell punted on the play calling a couple seasons ago, portalled in another QB, and replaced his OC with Malzahn. We don’t have a coach willing to make such changes to save his job.

 

Good thing Florida doesn't play Vandy this year.

 

More than I was before. We played well against LSU. They did not look like a much better team. Our defense if they stay healthy is solid. I’ve said in other posts our record is dependent on DJ. He plays bad we lose, plays good we win.

 

LSU is not a good football team. Neither is USF.....but it's still early.

 

We may end up with a better record, but it's already worse. FSU didn't have nearly the talent we do and say what you will about Norvell, he didn't hesitate when a change was needed.

 

I might’ve scoffed at this thread a bit when it first popped up. Now I probably owe it an apology. The clowns scored 65 points or more in consecutive games for the first time since 1992. The Gus Bus has their offense rolling. He was a great hire for them as OC.
