I wish Mullen would recruit a quick-release, highly accurate QB named Kelly so we could call him Machine Gun Kelly.

If making terrible music gets you access to Megan Fox then by all means, rock on

I think he's saying "if you're racist, you might oppose it". Not "if you oppose it, you are racist".

Frankly a good case can be made to retire T15's number.

I certainly don't care. And I'm no fan of the firearm AR-15.

You're awfully sure that he can't throw a football. That's a questionable stance a this point in time.

    Counterpoint: Jalen Hurts.

Okay, then, how about a good-looking QB named Nelson whom we could call Baby Face Nelson?

How many retired numbers (not jerseys) does UF have? I know all of us Florida schools (UF, FSU, UM) have had so many greats that retiring numbers caused issues.

UF doesn't have any retired numbers for football and just one for basketball, Neal Walk's number.

Your counterpoint is the guy who could not even win a Championship with Bama's talent as starting QB, and was benched for a QB that could.....throw? Odd choice, but ok, fair enough. He did have huge numbers....in the Big12. At least until he actually had to play an SEC defense that year. That 15/31 and a QBR of 65 sure showed LSU what an accomplished passer he was.

Why are you so determined to have a football player nicknamed after a Depression-era gangster?

My counterpoint is a guy who went 39-4 as a three-year starter, lost a NC 35-31 when his defense gave up a TD with 1 second left, and led his team to the NC game/CFP each year as a starter. Sounds like a pretty damn good counterpoint to your claim that you can't win with a QB like that in today's CFB.

I’m very concerned that he won’t run any “shotgun” formations …

Wait we have another Del Rio on the roster who fans think will be a savior? Ugh.

Mullen throwing the ball 40 times a game was an aberration. AR doesn't have to be a great passer if he is a great runner. But he has to be a good enough passer to make the throws when they are there.

We had two retired jerseys, #55 for Scott Brantley and Spurrier's #11. Spurrier un-retired both of them, choosing to award #11 to a player who worked through significant adversity to become a Gator. SOS made a point of saying no jersey number should be retired. I strongly agree.
