Whittemore and Shorter this week kept the pressure on South Carolina’s defense. Shorter is as good as advertised. I know everyone has said in the practice reports Trent W. was making tough catches. He did snag a few over the middle and a touchdown, looks to run good routes and has great hands and athleticism. We are loaded at wr!

Glad Shorter has been worked in. Means he must be doing something right and has some talent after all. Someone said he seems slow?

Whittemore has more than impressed. Good job coaches.

Through two games Grimes and Copeland haven't done much. Just a matter of time that one or both breakout

Henderson is a natural wide receiver. Reminds me of Van Jefferson. Locked and loaded, good routes and sure hands.

And with decent incremental Oline improvement they will get more balls more better.

The size of the young Florida receivers is impressive and should give d-backs fits. That catch Whittemore made over the middle was way above average. The one he made in the end zone not so much but he held on.

Shorter almost looks like Pitts at times w his size ...maybe he can pack on more and be a flex TE

Grimes has had a few drops this year.

Toney really improved his hands. Complete player now, but need him to get the first down and move chains on some plays.

Was worried Henderson may have been injured Saturday, as was hit hard in the hip area after the catch.

Shorter appears to be a big possession receiver to move chains rather than a deep threat.

Trent is a surprise and very athletic with good jumping ability and hands.

Copeland has been very quiet. Not getting much separation in routes.

Pitts is incredible. Best player on field.

Does everyone like how they are subbing the receivers on offense?

it seems like we take out Grimes, Copeland, and Toney for an entire series instead of subbing in one or two guys.

The game was still in doubt in the second half and we went with Shorter, Henderson and Whittmore. If I’m honest I would of liked to see Grimes, Copeland and Toney in there with the game still on the line.

Agree on Whittemore, looks to be a good athlete, runs good routes and is determined to get every ball thrown his way, hope some of the other Florida receivers get his focus. Shorter looks fast enough and add to that good jumping ability/great hands/physical. He is a great addition.

A play that I think gets too little attention is how Trask threw into coverage and the defender had best position but Copeland was aggressive and broke up the would be interception. Shorter didn't make the same effort the week before although he was interferred with.

I'll go with a bit of a surprise the other way in that I expected to see more of Weston based on some of things we've heard. He's still young with some older guys in front of him so definitely not writing him off.

This is THE surprise at the WR position.

The NCAA did something favorable to us on a transfer?
