I thought not long ago that Koht would be a Gator, then I was told (may or may not be so) that the staff had him lower than some other guys.

Me too, but seems like AU has the edge per most sites

Probably better suited to flip someone due to geography, if family becomes concerned with distance. I think we are currently losing more kids to virus fear and travel distance. Not helping us when recruiting is on pause. Miami is leveraging recruiting coordinators brother who works at a gym to communicate with kids in person that UF can’t replicate during this time. Being close benefits Miami during no recruiting periods

I say this without malice, Candy, but too many of your tidbits about smoke on elite kids have not panned out for me to get excited. That's the staff's fault, not yours. Our whiff rate on Top 100 types is just much too low at this time. It has to be less than 10%.

This has been true of most sites since as long as I can remember. The only teams grabbing top-100 types year-in and year-out are Ohio State, Alabama and Georgia. Their mods must look like gods.

Every other team's moderator staff look really hit-or-miss.

Lol right. We have 13 top 100 players (a few just outside the composite top 100) so yea man our hit rate on top 100 players is pretty atrocious lol.

Of course, I get that for paid sites. They try to drum up interest to keep subscriptions. That said, this isn't a paid section and Candy's not a mod.

Either way, I don't fault Candy as I said. But nowadays when I see interesting recruiting nuggets, the phrase that comes to mind with our staff is "fool me once..."

As soon as he committed I never thought it was over... I have a lot of confidence in Turner to pull a coup somewhere... I think this guy is our best chance

Agree, question becomes if they flip Tunmise do they stay after koht or go for a dt like Collins.
Or maybe Borders goes to Stanford, and koht fills his spot
