Ok. I’ll bite. 2 losing seasons and that blow out. What does it take to conclude “he flat out stinks?”

 

Retaining recruits is one thing. Retaining fans and donors is a whole other story. Who’s going to donate and pay to see what we saw on Saturday?

 

I think there is a decent chance of him being the coach in 2025 and it hinges on the fact that UF has an interim president that will likely not touch the AD/football HC situation.

Whoever touches this will be responsible for a situation that will cost UF around $40 million to start. That’s not gonna be somebody with the word interim attached to their title.

 

No idea, I wasn't there and based on the perponderance of evidence I don't believe he is lying.

 

If I was UCF that would be board material there.

 

At Florida, I'd say the odds are about 1 in 10. He would need to go 7-4 from here on out and have scUM continue to look good. Still can't believe we gave up 41 points to that outfit. Had they scored that much on anyone with a pulse in years? Of course maybe that QB is NFL number one pick material and they just got lucky getting him.

 

Billy doubled down this summer on being the playcaller. That ship has sailed and is out to sea. He’s not getting another chance.

Any coach that knows football could see him as a disaster a year ago and likely fired. Why dirty your name attaching it for what would be a one year deal at UF...ask the S&C coach who ran like hell when he had a chance. I doubt any decent coach wanted to be anywhere around the mess...hence he couldn't get a decent hire.

 

Well that would be the first time Ive seen the guy with any "D" in two years.

 

The way FSU has looked their 1st 2 games getting abused by normally two ACC mediocre teams, I'm not ready to mark that a L. And the games weren't really even close if you watched them. FSU was actually lucky to not been beat by more vs BC AT Doak Campbell. They couldn't move the ball or stop the ball. And DJ U was awful.

 

This is pretty close to what I am predicting, with only a couple exceptions. No way we score 2 TDs on UGA, and Ole Miss will beat us by a lot more than 10 points.

 

With a respectable loss to Miami Napier could have survived a 5-7 season. 6-6, with our schedule would have been a respectable foundation.

But given what we got it is ever more clear that the off season was squandered with ineptitude.

I do not see us getting to five wins.
