I would have to think Robinson has to fit that bill. Our first big time recruits of the 2019 class were all LBs (starting with D. Black). He is the main recruiter of the Ocala area, and we have began killing it in that area. It seems that he knows what he is doing. Also, the LBs have played really well this year (except for Vosean over pursuing). Thoughts?

For sure Robinson. We need to keep him and pay him whatever he wants to do so because some people worry he may go back to his alma mater UGA if they were to ever offer him a job their.

This right here. It was said many were taking a wait and see attitude. It played out well and I think they liked what they saw. I know I certainly did.

When our stand alone football facility is built, as well as new dining facility, weight room, locker room, ..., we will compete with anyone. 2021 kids will be here for all of that

    Diwun Black?
I think that’s the name of the LB from MS who moved here and wants to enroll but may have academic issues

No. I was told here that staff matters more than wins or the product on the field.

I would go with Mullen though.

Luckily, they just tell you that here. Other places try to beat it into you!

I think some of it is both. We probably need a couple "recruiting" coaches added. That said, I understand Mullen needing to set the tone of his regime here. I am fine with the way he is going about it, even if we miss on a couple of guys early in his tenure.

It's a team thing, although it is very true that certain individuals have a Certain Charisma that can really convince many.

Larry Scott is supposed to be our ace recruiter, but so far he hasn't closed anything (could change if/when the Lakeland boys commit)..

If you believe 247, Warren is our most successful recruiter this year.

Most were recruiting coordinators at other schools in the past. Not sure any are great recruiters in the TRob, Brewster, Lupoi, Christobal, .... realm in terms of getting in kids heads. However, a good hard working staff. Since most of our staff are newer to Florida recruiting or have not focused on in 10 years, we have a real opportunity to get better over time
