Ok, so I thought this while Trask was still on the ground. “Our QBs get hurt, what the hell happens if EJ goes down?!”

I am not 100% sold until I see the Saturday play as sprains heal quickly but Trask was gimpy on Saturday as he just sprained his maniscus which I have as a safety and it was a light sprain and it hurt for 3 weeks.

In the chance that Kyle is quickly too hurt to play and we send in EJ, I don’t believe in jinxing it so should the worst happen, who the hell is backing up EJ???

    Nick Sproles

    then

    Luke Mathews

I'm not sure if Toney was healthy if he would be ahead of Sproles or not... I think Toney is probably the actual #3 guy.

To put it in perspective, I bet no team feels really good about their 4th string QB.

Yeah, but not many see a path to him either. Thinking positive now. RPO QBs are liabilities and our throwing QB is questionable. We shall see.

Well at least he’ll get the ball in his hands.

Nah. It should be Copeland since he is clearly better than Toney as some think:emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Run the Morningweg/Taylor offense with Sproles/Toney, where right before the snap the QB sprints away from the ball as fast as possible

Especially one that started out as sixth string (J.Jones and Toney).

Well it would be interesting to see to say the least. Who knows, maybe it would open up the secondary for some easy breaks. :)

Let’s just keep Trask healthy and EJ too.

Sproles would clearly be better than Toney at QB. Probably not WR though.

Not sure where to ask and don't want to start a new thread but what is with the Copeland threats to transfer on Twitter? Haven't heard anything else about it

Who knows. Twitter can be very unreliable for accurate info. Sometimes things on there come to fruition but most of the time not. Hopefully all BS.

I thought on the HBO special they said Mathews is behind EJ? For reps at least.

My cousin plays the bass drum in the UF band.... I think he played QB for his pop-warner team. Four years of eligibility left. And opposition has no tape on him.

That could be, because Sproles is the scout team QB. He gets plenty of reps playing other QBs. Let's hope, if need be, he can play Joe Burrow or Jake Fromm in a game real good.

Heard Mullen say in Saturday's post-game interview that the man up after EJ is Nick Sproles, and he is "really good."
