.... and I didn't necessarily care for his suit choice last night.
The game was called fairly by the officials in the first half...second half not so much.
I went back and counted possessions from the 10 min mark of the second half, we had 20 and average length of possession was 16 seconds. I don't think I would consider that taking the air out of the ball.
I was watching the game with @ArtVandelay and said the same to him. . . . that the announcers were incorrect in saying we were bleeding the clock.
We did, however, get tight . . . missing shots, not moving as well and not moving the ball. But we didn't run the shot clock down.
Actual data. Exploding some perceptions, here...
What was the “median” of the data set?
High and low?
The typical time?
I agree, there were several possessions where we used the whole clock but they were running the offense, not just standing out there holding the ball.
Good questions, I did the "figurin" at home and that paper is there. I'll look when I get home.
Actually, the Gators got the lion's share of the calls last night. Unusual on the road.
Your empirical data have no place on the Internet.
Thank goodness UF held on, I think another loss with a good lead down the stretch would have scarred this particular team at this time. UF has the players to win, but they play scared and insecure down the stretch, maybe that's not that surprising, with the teams leader being a true freshman. I really hope this at least lets them realize they can still nut up and win, when the tide starts to turn.
Still a a lot of upside with this team, just not sure they have the mental toughness to reach their potential. I expect a football game this weekend and I actually think UF has a decent chance to win
I want to see this team get across the time line faster and then run some offense. Don't just stand there dribbling the ball at the point.
