Will start soon, but just an early comment ---
It will be interesting to see how White handles this game. I suspect, despite how disgusted he might be with the final 8 minues, he will largely focus on the positive. I think White will be very conscious of the mental aspect of this, and will not want to harp on another late collapse.

We will find out soon. . .

    Typing as I listen.

We will take em however we can get em. This was like a football score. It was crazy we couldn't stretch it and they came back with vengeance ...clawed their way back in.
We did just enough but its a good win anytime you can win here. KA was clutch down the stretch.. he has been whole career. He is such a laid back guy... his expression never changes, so it fitting to be such clutch free throw shooter.

Jalen and KA were both aggressive. We missed some open ones. I thought we could have had a good offensive night. We moved and moved the ball and had a lot of decent looks. We have to get those guys going, but ka had one of his better games of the season.

He had 5 rebounds, played a lot of minutes and was tired late, and still stepped up and made free throws.

We have been pretty good all year defensively. We didn't quite do enough, but some of it was playing with a lead. And the crowd noise played into our communication. But it was a pretty good effort.

We need to a better job of not looking at the score board.

There is fine line between making the opponent defend and not lose our mojo. we don't know where that line is and we are trying to figure it out. In our timeouts we are talking about it.... we cant hope it runs out.

That said, we made enough plays to get out of here with a win.

We did a good job by committee on gafford. We still fouled too much. We did a good job when doubled the post and fired... and being there on the catch or dribble and getting back out on the shooters.

Dontay was pretty good... he plays with physicality, and he makes winning plays. He likes the game and is competitive and usually gives it all he's got.

lets get back to the swamp.

Had a 16 point lead with 9:13 left and we start taking the air out of the ball. That’s just bad coaching and it nearly cost us another loss. I think we all expected the late game collapse because it happens way too often. The Tennessee game is not gonna go well for this team.

There again blowing a substantial lead and almost losing the game. It cost us with SC ... Are we choking? Are we not in top condition? Is it coaching? Are we complacent?

I don't know the answer but I do know I am elated over this win and I believe this team has a lot of potential.

Going forward, I believe we now know what the Gators are and how we'll win and lose.
It's an old basketball adage that "defense travels." We showed that tonight, and if we bring our defense and effort we can win road games. We're going to need more road wins if we want to make the NCAAT.
Offense is our Achilles heel, calf, upper leg, and torso. If we can hit shots and free throws and still play our defense we can seriously beat ANY team. Including Tennessee. Butler saw us at our best and got blown out quickly. But we're clearly not going to have good offense regularly.
I guess I'm okay with that. I'll just keep my fingers crossed for defensive effort every game and take a good offensive outing as the cherry on top.

Ugly, but an SEC road win none the less. Not sure Anderson lasts much longer at Arky tbh

White has a history of doing this at UF and it has cost us a bunch of games the last few years. Up 12-15 and going to a stall game with 8-10 min left. It is really frustrating

SEC Road win, take it, smile and move on, going to be another evolving season with changes in attitude and changes in latitude, enjoy the journey (particularly the young guys as they get some seasoning here early in conference play)

*we* bitch and complain when we have a lead and take a shot too early in the clock, if it is missed.

*We* bitch and moan if it is perceived if we milk the clock....and presumably miss the shot.

    Tough to satisfy the fans....

Key is to make the shot, then we won’t complain, I suppose...

Yeah. Just shoot 80% from the field. What's the problem with this coach? ;)

The officiating seemed a lot better than the S.Carolina game, for sure.
