Don’t worry. We have a process at JMU.

I hate celebrating them as well as this has to be one of the toughest part of coaching with the uncertainty and the constant uprooting of your family and moves.

We need coaches who get poached by other programs in the future. None of Napier’s coaches were poached by anyone. That tells you all you need to know. Either no good coaches wanted to work with Napier or he wasn’t smart enough to hire them.

Not exactly true unless you believe Napier moved on from them. A&M hired Bateman and Spencer, LSU got Raymond back, and Miami took Harris to mention a few.

Vb3 was damn good this year, UF's leading receiver in most categories (I think) except TD's. I think he will explode next year. Get Wilson healed up. Add in the others that return, mix it up with a couple of the cruits coming in at the position, that do so with great fanfare + CJS may add a body or two at the receiver position from the portal. Whomever takes over for Billy G's position is going to have some tools in the box to work with. The big question of course will be WHO will be throwing them the rock?

Being an Ohio Bobcat I got to engage with Coach Dixon a couple of times at events. Great GREAT person and coach but he retired after the 2023 season.

Yup. I also heard maybe punching an LSU player wasn't the best move for a coach and may have played a part.

We don’t know yet….but I’d imagine when the new Head Coach mentions you and says we need to get him the ball more at the intro press conference, probably a pretty good indicator that we’d try our best to keep him around.

Yes for on field. Not sure about the bloated off the field staff.

I would be surprised if any analysts were kept. Maybe they're already out the dooe? We definitely need Katie Turnee and maybe more recruiting staff retained at least for transition.

I hope SC coach is soon and elite SEC level.

We also lost the original DC and an assistant coach to the NFL after year one. Napier brought in Austin Armstrong the next year.

Napier hired really good assistants on the defensive side of the ball. Offensively, not so much. Seemed like he wanted yes men and forced his system on the staff.
