actually, I think the recruiting analysts did a good job at filling holes. And he built a lot of player support apparatus. I don’t know if they’re worthwhile or not.

I doubt anyone analyzing opponents or our player performance or schemes is kept.

 

I don't know about that. We were one great OC and a healthy team (and QB) away from a damn good year in 2025. That can't be blamed on the support coaching.

I hope we can. I bet she has offers to go about anywhere. Being a Bama grad and having worked at uga worries me she may go to one of them.

 

I think the bigger issue is she just married David Doeker, a quality control guy part of Napier’s army. So it would probably be a package deal. I’m sure Sumrall will find a way to keep both of them as Katie was in on the Zooms to hold the class together with Sumrall.

 

I would think her job takes precedent wherever they go. She probably makes double what an analyst makes.

 

That I like. She is fully engaged. I assume many people have told him she is indespensible.

The lazy DC had him coaching edge rushers even though Mike Peterson is one of the best tackling LBs in Gator history and a NFL AllPro . Hope they keep him. So solid! #29 always one of my favorites.

 

Let Gonzales coach TEs if they have to keep him. We need an elite WR coach/recruiter. Billy G is neither.
Having played and coached WRs (helped put one on the pros) I’ve noticed under Mullen and Napier the WRs are barely open if ever, run undisciplined routes and have not been allowed to zone-read. Other teams have been stealing speedy Florida WRs right fr under our noses for 6+ years. We need new. Ike Hilliard is available btw.

 

New Florida coach Jon Sumrall is expected to hire one of his key Tulane staffers. Sumrall will reportedly bring director of football operations Jeremiah Cartwright with him to UF, according to On3’s Byrce Koon.

Cartwright has worked with him at his last two stops and served as his director of football ops at both places. He’s in his second year as Tulane’s DFO after being promoted to the same role at Troy by Sumrall before the 2023 season.

Absolutely must retain the GatorMade and Gamechanger coordinators, whatever those are.

Making the Case for Two Gators Coaches to Stay on Staff Under Sumrall

Rumor report: Juluke and Chatman. But could be intentional leak?

 

During interviews with Sumrall last night after selection show, Coach said he was getting ready to hop on a flight to Gainesville.
Have to assume he is meeting with the staff today to discuss their futures.

 

I'm thinking that we'll find out this week. I saw a CJS interview on youtube last night talking about their playoff game prep and he's giving the team off this week for finals and lifting and I believe that he said he'll be in Gainsville for a few days.

 

Maybe we'll get some staff reveals this week.
