I invite all posters that said we were "100% NIT bound", or "zero chance" of making the tournament.

I think it's only fitting that each one of you step up and receive your lashings - like men

    :)

Back in November/December I was saying we had NIT written all over us. I am so proud of how this team has fought and improved.

Agree it was hard not to be down on the team back then, but man have we ever turned this ship around. Kudos to White, staff, and all the players who stuck with the process and turned it around (Hudson, Johnson, Stokes)

Don't worry, they're around waiting for the next opportunity to gripe.

I won't call out anyone who said that at that point. We were looking pretty rough. But we still had guys saying that or worse when the we were on a 5 game winning streak.

Like this post itself, people who has been negative and overly positive about the Gators.... it's premature. Wait until the season is over to analyze, reflect and then donate your opinion. This team has been inconsistent even maddening. I can understand the frustration. Now we are on an upswing. It's all part of the fun.

Yes still a lot of ball yet to play. But we're in the Dance, and we seem to be on the upswing. That's all any of us could have asked for.

Spot on. I say we all just be happy right now and enjoy the ride. No need to call anybody out. As you said, let's enjoy the fun and hope it continues.

I am guilty of posting our NIT seeding....in hopes of motivating the lads to win their way into the NCAA’s....which they have in dramatic and gutty fashion!

After TCU, I started an end-of-season outlook thread where I predicted 6-6/NIT. I was correct about the 6-6, but pretty sure I was wrong about NIT. Let's dance, baby.

I think you get a pass, Bogey. No one would ever call you a Gator hater.

I am one of the doubting posters. I really thought that after the loss to Georgia, which was inexplicable, that the team would pretty much fold. Glad to say I was completely wrong. They have stepped up to the pressure and the challenge.

I never posted it, but I honestly thought this team was going to the NIT not far into conference play. I'm so happy they proved me wrong and I'm proud of them.

I don't think anyone could have envisioned how weak of a bubble there is this season. In most years, we would not qualify for the ncaa tournament.

I wasn’t one of them but it’s not like the criticism wasn’t warranted.

This is what happens when everyone on the floor elevates their game in crucial moments. Great team win.

I did adjust my expectation but I was also hopeful of improvement.

I never could understand the beratement of the team and coaches. Even people calling in Finebaum were complaining. Naturally, he was supportive of their unrealistic expectations and gripes as just being fact.
