The only downside for the Gators is that Fromm may have just played himself out of the 2020 NFL draft.

The only QB that I don't want to see again is Burrow. Obviously we won't have to. We can beat Fromm next year if he returns.

Don’t think it’s an indictment of how bad UGA is, it’s moreso what a machine LSU is. LSU would’ve throttled anyone they played in the SECCG.

Injuries did Georgia in. Losing 2 of their best receivers before the game, having a very limited Swift and then losing 4 key players early in the game was too much to overcome.

All that crootin', Georgia should be able to overcome some injuries. Ah, my heart pumps piss for them.

The interesting thing about UGA is that, while they are a top program right now, how can things get better for them? They already have a load of 5 stars, facilities, great recruiting infrastructure, and yet, this is the result...when they have all of that working in their favor, no less. What do they look like when recruiting slips back a little when high school players see that UGA isn't the shiny new team anymore?

Yeah because those guys you mentioned were going to man up and stop LSU’s offense.

No, but it limited their ability to keep up. Instead of a 37-34 type of game, we got a 37-10 game.

Auburn played them pretty damn well. Only lost by 3. We got smacked by what...2 TDs? They almost hung half a hundred on us. We played a very good game but they pulled away pretty easily.

I thought it would be a close game; I am really glad I was wrong. I think we have a great shot at going to the Sugar Bowl. You can look up the selection guidelines off the CFP website and it states that if the SEC Champ is in the CFP, the Sugar can pick any bowl-eligible team from the conference. I would be surprised if they didn’t pick us. We would be far more excited to be there and Georgia was there last year. A fan can hope. Also New Years Eve on Bourbon Street would be amazing.

Who said georgia would win? I heard here that it could be a lot closer than we think, generally that LSU had a suspect defense. Not today. Perhaps georgia more has a suspect offense.

Fromm and his WR’s are underwhelming, they have been all year.

We were in the red zone down by 7 midway through the 4th quarter when we turned it over. Ain't no "pulled away pretty easily" about it. FLORIDA played 'em tough in Death Valley. Auburn tacked on a TD late in what was a 10-point game before that, onside kick fails, and the score looks closer than it felt throughout that 4th quarter (kind of similar to our game with Georgia, never really felt as close as the 7-point final score).

    Go GATORS!

Yeah. Still pulled away and beat us by 2 TDs. Giving up 42-43 points (whatever it was) is nothing to pat ourselves on the back for. Lol

I know i know. LSU scored late to make it look worse than it was (even though we gave up 500 yards) and Auburn scored late to make it look better even though they held LSU to 23 points. Moral victories sll around!!

Also on this topic, I thought Georgia would keep it closer than they did, but I still thought LSU would win. I was pleasantly surprised at how well LSU handled 'em. Over the last 37 seasons, Georgia has three more football SEC Championships than I do.

    Go GATORS!

    no! No!! NO!!!

According to some here, talking about injuries is an excuse and no matter how many you have, your backups should be able to play just as well as the starters.

  18. He wasn't talking about moral victories, he was discussing facts. To be even remotely dismissive of that performance in Baton Rouge is odd as hell.

We gave them a great game in Red Stick on a Saturday night when the challenge was greatest. I think even LSU fans would tell you that the Florida game scared them in the 4th quarter much more than the Auburn game did.
