if we keep winning through the gauntlet of hell, at what point does the staff start to get reconsidered or out of the blue calls from high blue chippers wanting to get on the longboard with us?

It seemed like we had a lot of 2020/2021 mojo last year. When do the wait and see guys stop waiting?

I doubt we win all the remaining games, would be awesome if it turns out. Mullen & crew will still recruit to need and depth, but probably not to Bama, GA’s level this year

Last year we finished with a strong class after the Bowl game and closed well on signing day. I think our class was still outside of the top 10 after the early signing period.

There are less than ~10 spots left and I think some of the kids we are still in on are signing day announcements, so there's just not going to be that much action between now and then...except this weekend and perhaps Thanksgiving (FSU).

We have momentum and interest now especially now that we have a full support staff off the field. We just don't have a great slate of home games to maximize our recruiting efforts this year. Outside of AU and FSU, there's really no other games that'll be used for OV's for recruits. I think that's ANOTHER reason we're beefing up to OOC schedule because that helps with recruiting. Next year we have LSU as the marquee home game next year and that's it. Look at Bama next year; they'll have home games against A&M, UGA, Auburn, and neutral site game against USC.

Also, the staff has only about 7-9 slots left this cycle to fill so they are being careful with who they court and give committable offers to. Hell the 2021 class has 6 pledges already and I kinda expect that number to be close to 10 by seasons end (Rucker, Dink Jackson, and Langston being back in the fold imo) so it's not like we're Viriginia Tech out here on the trail.

How many would trade our class for most ranked ahead of us.
Elam,Zipp, Pitts, Bogle, are future All SEC. We have some stud young OL Men.
White,Tarquin,Beilth will play on Sundays. We had a top 5 class when you check in 3 years. I worry less now then ever on recruiting. Our 10 rank classes will be top 3-5 when you check back on them.

Will be really difficult to have a top class with the attrition we suffered, but you never know I suppose.

Crazy that it's been 11 seasons since we won it all and had two bad hires yet both of those bad hires at one point had us on the cusp of playing for a natty title/being in CFP (2012, 2015, 2016 before the FSU games happened that is).

But we weren’t really that good. Notre Dame has got in s couple times and proved they didn't belong.

Year. Not sure why only half went thru.
He's big, nasty attitude and playing as true freshman. I say future All Sec after 3rd year.

I WISH I had confidence. I wish our class was already very strong with the 18 commits but I think it’s “ok”, not great. We are hoping to close strong to finish inside the top 10 where we would already be top 10 with 18 greats. Okay, I realize I’m asking for our staff to be very good recruiters and it’s too soon for that.
