Yesterday my wife gave my two CDs. The first one was Joni Mitchell Court and Spark. I had both the vinyl album and the CD but both vanished. Love the album. Great to have the music again. The other was Fresh Cream.
Lol... So I'm on my laptop computer and you post this song... Yeah, you made me pull out my Monster4 Bluetooth speaker and I blasted it. My neighbors love you too...
My wife is complaining that this oldie is getting too much attention now. I love this song. It was on the first album I bought. Added in edit: The title song is really good. And the Donovan song Hurdy Gurdy Man had John Paul Jones and John Bonham as session players. There is controversy whether or not Jimmy Page played on it.
Duane Allman was an outstanding guitar player. IIRC he was a studio guitarist for some Hour Glass recordings at FAME in Muscle Shoals. Probably 1968 or 1969. A lot of great music came out of that studio. It helped that The Stompers were the usual back-up players. Aretha Franklin recorded one song there, but hired The Stompers to back her up at Atlantic Studios after that.
Playing an old James Brown CD. Explaing to my wife the different rythyms. Once I saiid them with a one, two however were neede with proper accents she got them. Remind me never to play a Zappa album for her.
