#tbt Stranger rocked Daytona Beach @ Texan hotel and played my favorite KISS song w/ Ace. We played hard back in the good old days.

I miss the Ron & Ron show. Was great entertainment on a weekday morning! They gave whole new meanings to morning talk radio. ;):emoji_cocktail::emoji_tropical_drink::emoji_tumbler_glass::emoji_wine_glass::emoji_beers::emoji_sunglasses::emoji_stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:o_O:emoji_cop:

I never liked Ron & Ron. They were not witty at all, just crude & vulgar.
Baxter & Mark were the best radio ever.
I can't wait to get the unreleased Stranger album soon.

They sure made driving all over Central Florida more tolerable with Fez and his Rick Flair impersonations, Flipper's reviews of concerts, Billy the Phone Freak...good times. :)

Been hearing this guy all over XMU and the local indy station, bizzaro gay, Canadien country and western singer. Amazing voice, something between Chris Isaak and Roy Orbison.

Those songs sure do sound like Tool. Has there ever been a band that makes music that great in their 50's? I mean all the older rock musicians I can think of have been living off of prior songs for decades. Tool can still produce and rock as hard as they did 25 years ago. The new album will most likely be No.1 w/o much of the advertisement or media saturation. The music speaks for itself.

You want to see what the best drummer in the world looks/sounds like with the focus just on him...

And here is Rick Grimes post Walking Dead Retirement playing the best damn Bass in the world, for me.

Agree totally with Danny Carey. I put him up there with Neil Peart, Terry Bozio, Mike Portnoy and a few select others.

I'd add Jimmy Chamberlin to that list as he was my favorite throughout the 90's, Smashing Pumpkins were never the same w/o JC.
