They lost over thirty players and their fans thought they would be better with new starters.

The big year gives and takes away. The Vols lost Sgt. Carter when the big year didn’t happen and then the talent left.

If you have to recruit for a big year and most do that isn’t named Saban or Meyer, you just repeat the cycle.

If you can get that title before you have to start over is the question.

Michigan fans are premature back slappers that didn’t wait for a trophy to claim one.

It’s just so much more fun to see Michigan fans struggle in their reach for the middle.

Yeah, horrible looking class. A few things stood out to me.

Several 2 stars. Many 3 stars...

They rolled the dice by taking the twins out of Texas. They took one of them in order to get the other in a package deal.

The kid out of Kansas city, Ronnie Bell, didn't have a single football scholarship. He had planned on attending Missouri State to play basketball.

Detroit Cass Tech is a local powerhouse and has been loaded. UM got nobody from there.

    Only 5 in-state kids.

    Zero 5 stars

Their only WR signee had ZERO other football offers. None.

The kid that may have the most upside out of all of them could be Joe Mixon. Who, at times last year, had trouble hitting the broadside of the barn.

Myles Sims is pretty good. He's a top 100 kid from a big time GA school (Westlake)

I thought Tyrone wheatley would have paid larger dividends than he has.

All of these issues and more and Mel Kiper still says with Shea Patterson Michigan is a top 6 team. Lol

    That's absolutely hilarious.

Why couldn't we catch Michigan this year with Mullen, instead of last year with Mac? Sucks.

I think its several things adding up.

Young team, not much playing time to sell. Lackluster on-field results. Urban eating their lunch both on the field and the recruiting trail. Harbaugh known as a guy who doesn't stay anywhere for long.

Look for Harbaugh to make a jump soon if he can't get it back on track next season.

Better to let it fall apart and get fired.

He's bringing in McElwain as the new WR coach/consultant on 'how to get fired'.

Everyone and their mother is negatively recruiting against him with the NFL rumors, much like people did to Spurrier towards the end of his run at UF. Add to that the injury this season to Speight and O'Korn basically sucking in a pro style offense and you had a disaster. And.....I hope the wheels just keep coming off in AnnArbor.

Me as well. But it's odd that he hires McElwain. Mac is a guy you might hire if the rest of your staff is incredible and you can afford the dead weight.

His receivers were off this year. He has brought in an offensive minded coach to turn the receivers around. It may take 4 or 5 years.
