I support EJ and appreciate what he has brought to the team over the years but he is clearly not the best QB on the roster.

I used to love watching all the unforced errors Georgia would commit when they were playing us. They were wound so tight you just knew the dropped balls and missed wide open receivers were coming. I hope our fans show up and reclaim the Gator Bowl!

It’s a rivalry game, anything can happen. You guys played Bama tough so not a team to be taken lightly. Bet Smart and the team are working to bring their “A” game. Sounds like JTD may be ready to go for the game.

I gave you a friendly rating. You are very close to getting one of each on this post and wanted to do my part.

Actually I want JTD to play. Stetson has managed game very well, hasn't make any major mistakes. for us to win, you guys need to make mistakes, hopefully JTD send some gifts our way.

No need to get all defensive.

Just wanted to be clear, that's all.

I also normally get irritated with the Florida media in how they frame some of their questions to really any of our head coaches in the last decade.

With respect to the current QB situation, when I think Edgar Thompson is being reasonable, you know the head coach is making a head scratcher. :D

We knew y’all were saving him till the Florida game, didn’t even need him. Plus Bennett has been very good.

rewatching UK vs UGA and as usual, I don’t like UGA’s secondary. Plays ARE there to be made against them but our achilles heal offensively, the OL, will have to play the game of their LIVES. As usual with a Kirby Smart D, they swarm and persuit well but they can be had on mesh routes as well as misdirection plays which Mullen has a boatload of them.

Problem is, do we double team Davis with Reese and Kingsley or White and Kingsley?

as crazy as this sounds, AR is potentially good enough to keep us in the game so if he’s THEE man, im not worried about the offense. We need the D to get a turnover or two and flip field position.

Yeah, Bennett has improved from last year:

    2021 - 69.5%, 11 TDs, 2 INTs
    2020 - 55.5%, 8 TDs, 6 INTs

Some Dawg fans think he should keep the job.

I feel like most Gator fans, we are tied down to some railroad tracks, with the freight train coming.
Our first play will be a run, the second play will be a run, then Dan will see what y’all do on a passing situation. Nothing like pressure on whoever Stubburn Dan puts in there. I have warned y’all, our custom conservative opening pace to play to our competitors level, nope. Just another lost chance at not moving the chains, possibly scoring and leading the game, making our rivals friends adjust their attack. Dan thinks this is just folly.

I think we definitely score in the 20s, maybe even though the 30s if AR plays the entire game. But I don't see us scoring much at all in any EJ drives. This isn't a game where we can waste drives. We need 100% AR getting us around the 30 point mark organically (not based on short fields), and then the best game of the year by our D (turnovers, etc.). 34 or 38 to 28 type score if we win.

It is doable. We are a live dog. But I suspect AR plays 60% of the time and score 14 points. EJ scores 3 or 7. D does its typical Florida thing (bend and break vs good offenses, no turnovers). 40s to mid to high teens is the safe bet for a UGA win

Typical Mullen/Kirby. Bennett, like Emory is fine. He isn't a scrub. But if you are trying to win a title playing him is handicapping yourself. He isn't an elite level QB.

To be honest, I don’t see UGA scoring that much against us w/o help defensively. I dont see their O getting 7 td’s against us. Why? I can’t even give you a realistic reason as to why but just something my gut is telling me.

when we got the ball, we gotta spread them out and use motion that we did against Bama to get some sort of gauge what’s up presnap. I’m projecting but AR seems good enough to where he could hold is own in a shootout even if he has to pass it 30+ times. Question, would you slow the game down and be methodically offensively or use tempo? Or determine that as the game goes on?

If I were Kirby, I would. I feel JTD definitely give us a better chance. We may lose worse with JTD as your QB, but we get a better chance to win too.

Unless, of course, they run the counter 60 times and score 8 TDs

They have maybe 4 first rounders running around defense. On offense the have 6 draftable players . we have maybe 1 first rounder and a couple possibly getting drafted . Do the math . Remember evaluation of coach staff
