In that regard, I would love to see us bunch our speedier players in the line up tonight and play some small ball. Especially so if Pickens is starting, as it might give us a chance to negate some of her velocity. Korbe would fit in nicely at 3rd spot (I believe she had the only hit last game), MIA in 4th, and so on. Whatever the line up, have to figure out a way to get runners home and avoid the double plays. Go Gators!

 

I hope they have more than one in them. It may take two runs.

Hammock besides her Mercer start, has been steady lately. Bats are going to have to be aggressive, pickens is a power pitcher that is straight heat and a change here and there so I think she plays well into our hitting style. She brings all the power so we just have to time it up and we'll be successfull. Lets go Gators!

Hopefully, Pickens will be wild tonight and give us some freebies, while Hammock has the best control of her season as a Gator. I doubt we get many hits off Pickens, but need to take advantage of every opportunity we get.
