Well Tennessee either comes out firing tomorrow or comes out flat. They definitely had to go through a more gut wrenching loss, so we'll see if they recover
They were ahead the entire game, and then they pitched to Ella Parker with 2 runners on at the last minute
I need to schedule time off work ... do I have this correct? We play: Friday @ 7PM Sunday @ 3PM Monday @ Noon Monday @ 2:30 and then, Wednesday, Thursday, and maybe Friday.
I'm guessing Pickens doesn't start tonight for Tennessee. But who do we start? Guessing again, but I think Hammock, although it could very well be Keagan again.
I think tennessee goes with pickens tbh and we go with rothrock. I would be very surprised if it is not them two. Win today and you get tomorrow off, so the pitchers can rest then. I liked what I saw from Red and Miller yesterday.
Agreed on Red and Olivia. Red is still an elite talent in my mind. Freshman year and she missed half of the season with injuries. Never had a chance to settle in and really get comfortable. Still she has the best ERA on the team; second best WHIP; and basically tied for best opponent batting average (Olivia has better numbers in a couple categories but doesn't have enough innings to qualify).
I think Tenn still might go with Pickens, but they do have Mardjetko ready to go. For us, I don't know, I think just with how CTW has managed the post season the past 2 years, you gotta assume, Keagan? But, I could be wrong!
We can't afford to walk batters though and Kara tends to walk more batters than the other pitchers, although I have to say each time I've been less than confident when she's the starter, she has proved me wrong. Whoever we start won't matter though if the bats can't get going, but we seem to thrive on taking it to the wire so hopefully those bats are hot tonight! Go Gators!
