Back-to-back really nice performances, especially short handed.
Let’s hear it for these guys!
Well deserved praise for this week. Let's string a few good weeks in a row
Fun to watch today and beating UGA in anything is fun.
ELO is up to 27 after that win, NET should be similar when it is updated. 2-2 vs Quad 1 and 3-1 vs quad 2, so slowly getting a decent resume.
Love this uptempo look.
Was fun to watch. Seems like they have figured out a rotation and White is comfortable with what everyone can do. Being short handed might have forced White to try some things that are really productive. Excited for rest of season.
On a totally unrelated note- I hope @wci347 is ok. I haven’t seen him since the MSU loss.
You know, I wouldn’t be so opposed to White if he would let this team play at a good pace much like today. Who wants to watch a slow walk the ball up the floor halfcourt game and still lose? Playing fast is entertaining if nothing else. I can stand to lose a lot easier if I’m watching a team that is enjoying playing and having fun.
Eh... too late... I have you marked down as wanting white fired after the season.
Jeff Lynne is way past 27....that’s some strange magic!
Well, I wouldn’t be too depressed if it happened. But I can stand him staying a bit longer if he lets them play fast.
I believe if what we've seen in the last two games is an indication of how he plans on playing from here on out he will win a lot of people over to his cause. Who knows, maybe the guys are just getting into a flow to where they can play at this pace. Whatever it is I know I'm liking it and not only because we are winning but because it is much more fun to watch.
Very good win. We have had a lot of trouble in Athens historically.
Would have liked to see a few minutes for the Biggest fellow and Sampson to keep them in a groove but can’t complain about a comfortable win on the road.
Those were 2 great performances, obviously you expect to beat UGA in normal circumstances, but with still missing Lewis and following up the UT beatdown that came out of nowhere, you had to worry about a letdown.
Hopefully we keep it going. Vandy seems like a "can't afford to lose" game, and unfortunately we've had that tendency in the last couple of years to have those letdowns. So hopefully we keep the high energy up against Vandy. Can't take any games off. After that, it's actually a pretty rough schedule with 3 out of 4 really tough road games. If we could get through there with just 1 or 2 losses that would be great. Even 2-2 in that stretch would be pretty solid and have us in pretty good position heading into February.
Curious what happens when Lewis returns, as he wasn’t exactly lighting it up in the few games prior to his absence.
Wonder what changed after those first 3 games for him.
Absolutely! Nothing fun about a slow game even when you win. I understand there are times that you must adjust the pace as a strategy due to different circumstances and the personnel of your team. But this team, other than Jitoboh, is built to run.
Got to give White credit, he had them ready to go today. I give White a lot of criticism so I have to give him credit when it’s due as well.
Not the last 2, but the previous 5 games he was playing great.
