And the failures of the first months of the invasion were just a ruse to make the Ukranians overconfident. All part of Putin's Bond-villain master plan.

My wife and I are off to Alaska to spend a week with kids and new grandchild.

You can almost see Russia from their house!

Europe finds a better way to arm Ukraine, by providing funding to Ukrainian weapons manufacturers. European funding has caused a manufacturer of Ukrainian 155mm howitzers to more than triple production since the start of the war. This factory increased howitzer production from six pieces a month to twenty a month.

A new, faster, cheaper way to arm Ukraine supercharged key artillery production

Of course it was fake news. In reality, it’s something the Kyiv regime would do …

Ukraine says Starlink's global outage hit its military communications

Starlink systems used by Ukrainian military units were down for two and a half hours overnight, a senior commander said, part of a global issue that disrupted the satellite internet provider.

Ukraine's forces are heavily reliant on thousands of SpaceX's Starlink terminals for battlefield communications and some drone operations, as they have proved resistant to espionage and signal jamming throughout the three and a half years of Russia's invasion.

Starlink experienced one of its biggest international outages on Thursday when an internal software failure knocked tens of thousands of users offline. “Starlink is down across the entire front," Robert Brovdi, the commander of Ukraine's drone forces, wrote on Telegram at 10:41 p.m. (1941 GMT) on Thursday.

Seems rather ill advised to discuss this openly as it’s happening in real-time.

The last living Ukrainian will probably lash himself to a HIMARS and fire himself on a public market in Donetsk …

Or just keep using 20 to 30 year old US tech to destroy the latest capabilities Russia can field. Man that has to be really embarrassing.

More accurately: Ukrainian pinpricks vs. Russian hammer blows.

Yeah. That is why Israel was so intimidated by the Russian technology in Iran. How did that work out for Iran and Russia?

I can’t say because the ‘war’ was so heavily orchestrated. Aside: as I type this another Patriot system is likely destroyed.

Do you really think DD would help them win FASTER? He would complain non-stop and sing songs about Stalin and Putin until they tied him up, put him in a crate, and paid to ship him back.

Just because I’m not leaving the US doesn’t mean Russia’s not >>> US in a number of ways.

Yeah, U.S. proxies frequently win wars, including wars against Russia. And that's a big reason why Ukraine is winning this war. They just have to retreat slowly, and make Russia pay for their territorial gains. Time is on Ukraine's side, as long as the West is providing them with money and weapons. No one is providing Russia with money to pay for weapons, and Russia's economy is a ticking time bomb. Russia will likely collapse economically within 6-12 months. And then the war is over, and Russians can go home.

Western defense companies are not only sending weapons to Ukraine, they are setting up factories in Ukraine.

Western arms makers are setting up in Ukraine. Kyiv gets firepower, NATO gets lessons in war.

Russia's aging and poorly-maintained passenger aircraft continue to drop out of the skies. This time an AN-24 crashed and killed 49 people. It was almost 50 years old, and had its air-worthiness recently extended to 60 years. U.S. airlines typically retire aircraft at 35 years. Russia seems to be suffering under the sanctions.

Russia tried to push its aging An-24s past 50 years of service. One just crashed with dozens on board..
