Scott is smart enough to see that NATO has done more harm than good since the USSR dissolved. He was against the wars in Iraq, Syria and Libya. I would imagine he was against the air strikes on Yemen. He wfavors a diplomatic agreement with Iran, not war. He formerly supported Israel but now believes that the Gaza genocide means the country is illegitimate and could be the end of Israel. Pretty sound thinking imo. Scott thought the Ukraine war would be over much sooner

Thank you. Very helpful in understanding your thought process.

You do not think his convictions have impacted his views at all?

Kanekoa the Great has 1 million plus followers on X. In this article he summarizes the data the OSCE collected on ceasefire violations involving "explosions" in Ukraine, the great majority of which occurred on the separatist's side of the ceasefire line in Donbas. Everything I've read interprets this as the Ukrainian army shelling the Russian-speakers beginning 8 days before the Russians invaded to preemptively stop a ground assault on Donbas Russian-speakers that was going to happen in March. I know Zelensky admitted the ground assault was going to take place but haven't been able to find a link for that yet. The late Gonzalo Lira lived in Ukraine talked about the planned ground assault:

More evidence that the US/NATO plan was to have Ukraine fight a proxy war with Russia. From Gonzalo Lira:

People that are grasping at straws to try and justify Russia’s invasion. The reports of explosions that are not visibly documented, were recorded using sound recording technologies. So you could have a car backfiring and it goes down as an explosion. They are desperate to come up with something that says Ukraine started the war and apparently these reports are what they are going with when the entire FVEY and NATO IC can confirm Putin was going to launch the invasion as soon as the Winter Olympics ended.

More like Putin is playing poker with a losing hand, and bluffing Trump into folding . . . over and over again. Trump is such a loser.

You may be the only person west of the Dnieper who thinks that Russia is losing.

Did Scott's conviction impact his foreign policy views? Seems doubtful. Of course why was Scott convicted of anything? Was there an unseen neocon hand that set him up because he opposed the Iraq war and denounced neocon war objectives in Syria and Libya? Haven't researched it and don't know.

Scott Adams and Scott Ritter both followed me on Twitter. Adams said I was his favorite Russia booster. Ritter also followed me. I could DM both men. i didn't want Adams to look foolish with his Ukraine war commentary so I asked Ritter if he would school Scott on the fundamentals of the conflict. Ritter graciously said he would. Adams declined. Ritter seemed like a really nice guy. His top priority today is to avoid nuclear war with Russia. He thinks we came close to letting that happen in the last 2 or 3 years.

Do I think Ritter is a bad guy because he supposedly tried to arrange a meeting with a 16 year old girl? Not really. 16 is the age of consent in roughly 30 US states. Was Scott set up by Deep State warmongers? Seems possible. I think the charges against Ritter were dropped regarding the 16 yo.

In the case Scott did time for he was in some sort of chat room where you were not supposed to enter unless you stated you were 18. Scott was evidently jerkin the gherkin and someone he was communicating with said "she" was just 15. Scott said he thought he was communicating with an older lady who was engaging in some sort of role playing fantasy. Turns out Ritter was chatting with a male cop

Crime of the century,l? Not imo. How is viewing a guy jerking off live any different from watching an easily accessible porn video? Not much difference to me but maybe I'm wrong And as Scott said, he didn't believe he was chatting with a 15 yo girl (and he was right).

If we'd listened to Ritter on Iraqi WMDs maybe there would not have been an Iraq war. So I judge him by his FP views. A lot of guys have done things of a sexual nature that would make them look bad if known.

So to be clear, you are suggesting that Ritter was set up by "Deep State warmongers" in the government but that had no impact on his Foreign Policy views of the United States Government. Or one of your go to Russia expert is a twice arrested pedophile and we should really trust his judgement.

Kind of shocking that Scott Adams wanted nothing to do with Ritter instructing him on anything, huh?

These posts are just so entertaining.

Under international law, Russia’s invasion and annexation of the Donbas oblasts and Crimea are illegal on the face. Hopefully, nobody disputes this. That being said, under the same principle, virtually every other border shift by force in human history was “illegal,” including but not limited to, our annexation of western territories and lands from Native American tribes. Does this help?

One question, when were those international laws established?

    Here's what I actually said:
"Did Scott's conviction impact his foreign policy views? Seems doubtful. Of course why was Scott convicted of anything? Was there an unseen neocon hand that set him up because he opposed the Iraq war and denounced neocon war objectives in Syria and Libya? Haven't researched it and don't know."

Scott Ritter opposed neocon foreign policies before and after he got into trouble with the law. So I said it "seems doubtful" that his FP views were influenced by his legal troubles. Pretty simple.

You engaged in what Scott Adams calls the "so tell":

"If a response to an argument starts with "so," what will likely follow is a straw-man caricature of that argument."

Your posts are so wild that they need to be boiled down a bit to respond. Anyway, please keep these barn burners coming. They are going to make a lot of Marine Intel Officers laugh tonight at the Marine Corps Association Information Awards dinner.

Yes, because 980,000 dead or wounded Russians is what losers think winning is.
