Being from the SouthSide I HATE the Cubs.

But they had Ernie Banks, Ron Santo, Ferguson Jenkins and Billy Williams all on the same team and couldn't beat the Mets that had Tom Seaver and a very youthful and not so good at that time Nolan Ryan,

 

I would say some small number. Tony Gwynn didn't strike out that often but on the other hand he didn't walk that often. He put the ball into play.

 

Late in my high school days I could stand at the back of the endzone of a football field and throw the ball through the uprights at the other end. Probably a 380 foot long throw. Adding at least 30 feet to that is awesome.
