Sully said Coppola pitched a little in the fall but they are taking it slowly and hope he will be back when SEC play starts. Nothing different than the news yesterday but he did say he pitched a little in the fall. So there's that.
That should increase the chances Langford is not the leadoff. I'd hate to think the lineup starts Langford then Cags at 1-2.
Seemed to confirm Cags at first except Maybe not the day before he pitches which sounds like Sunday starter. Also that he would, of course, DH when he pitches.
Maybe they should let Diamond Gators question Sully for an hour. Not really much of substance other than the couple of nuggets Matherly posted.
Great minds think alike. Funny the best question, the one about Coppola, came in from a guy's son that texted his question for his dad to ask. He wasn't even there. Maybe we should have Jeff set us up on some Zoom call where get to keep going around asking Sully as many questions as we can fit in an hour.
I could see if Robertson and Rivera's bats got hot they go 1-2 and then Langford and Cags. That might be very unlikely but we would be scoring plenty of runs if they got on base.
I was trying to figure who would be 1-2 in that scenario. I was thinking Robertson Halter Langford Cags - mainly because I can’t wrap my head around Josh being at the top of the lineup.
