She was a lean for a long time apparently. Still good to have it come to fruition.

This young lady is the daughter of a good friend. She is going to be a great Gator. They are ecstatic that she finally came out and committed to UF. Welcome to the family Lexie.

With our offense already showing improvement, pitching was the weak link. Hopefully, this will permit us to fire on all cylinders.

We get Halley Pittman next year and then Lexie the year after...People forget Riley was highly recruited and so was Lugo..so now we just have to get the right development in for them.

I think Rylee will give us what we expected when she was recruited, has already flashed some of those elite moments. I'm not sure Lugo is ever going to be consistently dominant enough to be that "shutdown number 1" starter we have been spoiled with. But if we have her as our number 2 then suddenly the staff looks pretty formidable again

Pittman is not that highly ranked nationally. As of now, she is more in line with Farley and Hightower. I don't see her getting many innings in 2021.

well I will admit softball is not my wheelhouse..but I was told Pittman was recruited by Bama, LSU, Texas, OKlahoma...so I thought that would make her a highly thought of kid. I dont even know where people get where the rankings are anymore..every softball sight seems to be paid now. So I just usually talk to travel team coaches or a few coaches at some universities that I know. I see Hightower and Farley have kind of disappeared this year. Still no matter what you would like to see the young women develop

I think Hightower can and will still be a very valuable part of the staff. From what I have seen Farley just doesn't have it, I know she was also a well thought of position player so maybe if the staff develops she can transition, cause I don't see it happening in the circle.
