NRA isn't happy. And it also doesn't quite understand what the Second Amendment is. (It doesn't say that a store must sell all types of guns and ammo.)

And more rightwing hysteria. I mean, no telling how many now-defenseless Americans will die because of Walmart. Right?

I didn't know the military got their ammo from Walmart. Interesting -- you learn something new every day.

Attention Conservatives: Add Walmart to the list of things we don't like.

Their banning of open carry is obviously in response to that incident where that guy strolled through Walmart with an AR15. I read a while a back that the guy claims to have called the Walmart and confirmed he could open carry before entering the building ... I think that case should be dropped.

They don't, but civilians owning AR15s and other "military style" weapons do.

Gutsy. Pissing off Bubba is a bad bad idea in my opinion for Walmart.

This looks more like criticism and skepticism than hysteria to me...

Walmart's free to do what they want... Doesn't mean it isn't stupid, nor does it mean that it is stupid...

What kind of a jackass would do a thing like that?

It's people like that which give right-wingers on guns a bad name...

I don't know. When you're claiming it's going to lead to the death of defenseless people, it seems like more than just rational criticism.

The cons really showed Target over that bathroom issue. Stock price has doubled since 2017.

If Amazon did 2 day shipping they would make a killing.

You can get better pricing buying in bulk from Palmetto Armory than Walmart but they get you on the shipping. Buy enough (1000 rds) and you get free shipping.

But at the cost of millions of people being molested in target bathrooms.

Interesting Dicks took some backlash for no longer selling assault rifles but looks like they were just the leaders.

We had a thread on it.... in Missouri the open carry laws say you can open carry inside businesses, too ... he said he wanted to test the law. He was arrested after causing a panic.

If you saw what we have in the military, you'd think otherwise. The only thing similar is the caliber of the bullet. "Military style" is code name for scary looking gun. A real military assault rifle has multiple modes of fire. Semi auto, 3 round burst and fully automatic. Just because you take a rifle and make it look a certain way, doesn't mean squat. It's the same hunting rifle with a bigger magazine and flashy parts.

    This

Is the same thing as this

However, some people are only up in arms about one of them because they look scary, not because they can do any more damage.

By the way, with an "assault rifle" ban I can still get a Mini 14 which is the not so scary looking one above.

I get what you are saying but it is much easier to make the AR in your example above the deadlier weapon. I am sure some can modify the mini 14 but is is crazy easy to modify the AR with a shorter barrel, drum mags, thermal scope, different upper for a higher power round......

You don’t know that until you have actually seen the wording on this non existent ban.
