UF played them really tough early in the season....made me very optimistic for the season. Been up and down since, with a dismal showing vs Pepperdine last match and a drop to 24 in the rankings. Sysoeva not in the doubles or singles lineup. Spee in at #1 doubles and #6 singles. Have to assume Sysoeva isn't healthy, no way Spee is better. Amazing how far off the map Emma Shelton has fallen, can't sniff the court. UF blitzed at #1 doubles 6-0, but win thrillers on courts 2 and 3 to go up 1-0 Singles underway Briggs loses a first set tiebreak Dahlstrom loses first 6-3....4-4 in second Dudney 4-6 2-1 Gailis cruises 6-2 6-0...nice play from her De Oliviera moves up to 5 and gets blitzed 1 and 2 Spee down 2-6 3-4 De Olivera won at 6 last time, very possible missing Sysoeva will cost the match tonight
Briggs up 3-2 in second, she does battle Dahlstrom wins her second, but down 0-2 in 3rd Dudney 3-3 in 2nd Spee up 6-5 in her second Got to force and win 2 3rd sets
Spee loses a second set TB and her match Briggs 5-5 in second Dahlstrom down 3-5, likely the clincher for TAMU Dudney forces a third but down 0-2
Briggs can't get over the hump, loses 6-7 6-7 Dudney was down 2 breaks in her third. Good battle, hoping Sysoeva isn't out long
Agree, and surprised it hasn't happened. Wheels have been off since he ran off Balogh. Adding the number 1 recruit next year so there is hope, will still need more help though
