Britt may be a better WR than the 3 we signed last year, at least while in HS. Very good athlete, speed and hands

CDM just brought the house down with a rousing talk at halftime of the Baylor basketball game. Great thing for the recruits to see.

Low 4 stars are at that position, imo. You’ll get a diamond in the rough from time to time but it’s rare.

Not bashing anyone, just want better RB’s here like .98s and .99s. Bowman should have been a Gator, have to get better in that area if were going to be competing for NC’s.

I think Pierce is elite. He showed flashes last year, always liked that signing and thankfully he gives us some breathing room.

You gave a smart-ass reply, so I just responded in kind, Mr. Turdmuffin.

Next time, try providing something useful when you post.

the Texas Tech/Kentucky game was a great one. Kentucky on the road, fighting hard, in an environment that was unbelievable. The fans were rocking, their coach yelling instructions that were taken and worked. Even though they lost in overtime, they have a solid program. Made the Odome last night look like a morgue in comparison. kudos to TT for giving their fans all they got!

Funny, Pierce is someone you wouldn't have signed by your rule... "low" 4 star at .9209

He was the #8 RB...so there were only 7 RBs in the entire country you would have considered?

I actually agree with this part of your assessment. However, again for the record, Pierce was not as highly ranked as either Gibbs or Clayton.

Clayton is 21- 247, 12- rivals, 20- espn. Pierce was 13- rivals, 13- 247, 8- espn if were splitting hairs here. I think he would be somewhere between Gibbs and Clayton, and a different style of rb. Either way a 20' rb would be great in addition to the Lingard transfer.

Relative to other players in their respective classes, Pierce was well placed- in comparison to Clayton in particular. But his numerical rating, which was the standard of measurement chosen by the poster to whom I was replying, favors both Gibbs and Clayton - all of which proves nothing at this point in time. We do however seem to agree on the desirability of taking the "highest rated" RB in the current class that we can get. IMO, Gibbs would be a great get, and Clayton would be only slightly behind.
