Couple of thoughts ...

People got sick and died prior to 2020.

Prior to 2020 people experienced cough, congestion, fever, body aches, loss of smell and taste, purple toes, etc.

 

Yes, paralysis and various skin eruptions are real. But there is no scientific evidence they are caused by a contagion as would be the case with ‘viruses.’

 

Simultaneous illness is perhaps the major reason people cannot shake their belief in viruses. But there are alternative explanations.

One thing to consider is shared environment. Ex: in November my wife and I came down with a nasty cough.

After replacing a particularly dirty a/c filter our coughs subsided in fairly short order.

 

Even people who believe in viruses regard the events of 2020ff as massive overreach.

But from where I stand it was especially darkly silly.

It could be that virus denial is a symptom of Long Covid. I’m trying to keep an open mind.
