Muschamp landed his first 5 star yesterday with the commitment of DL Zach Pickens from TL Hannah HS in Anderson. This commitment moves SC into the top 10 for 2019. I’m a little optimistic, but still a little skeptical until I watch the team this year.

This was South Carolina’s first 5 star since Jadeveon Clowney.

zman - for Hunter, I think you meant 240 lbs, not 320. No one who is 6'4" tall could possibly be lean unless his entire bone structure was nothing but Adamantium, like Wolverine.

I think his last five star was Byron Cowart...

I saw that he's been 100% USCe per 247. I was wondering when he'd pull the trigger. Good pick up for you guys.

Sorry, I meant to say it was his first 5-star he's landed at South Carolina.

Yeah WM is doing pretty good. Out of him and Mac I was really rooting for Will more so than Mac to get us back to our championship ways. Even though he was a Bulldog when he was here he was all Gator and the players loved him. Best of luck to him except when he plays the Gators.

Steve Spurrier seems to like Muschamp a lot too and seems to give him a pass when he was at Florida.. Mac on the other hand....... I don’t think the ol ball coach cares for that guy to well.

I hear you, but I am talking about Hunter Rayburn, offensive guard, Pensacola High School. He is 6'4 and 320lbs and looks lean for a guard. Ask Wanne15 about Rayburn. He is better connected than I.

Not so much but I live here and ask around a bit. Most of my friends kids play baseball.

Ahhhhh, that's the difficulty of having multiple guys with the same name, just like the two Derricks that Frost has recruited to Nebraska for 2018.

Personally, always having an almost unique name, I've felt that people should be numbered rather than merely named. For example, there should be a Jones1, Jones2, Jones3, etc, which allows easy distinction.

247 has an article saying we offered a JUCO DT this week. Anyone got info on who that is? I looked at the 247 top JUCO DT's and there's only 3 listed (2 are committed to Minnesota and one to South Carolina).
