They have 11 commits remaining. We have 4 plus a punter. Falling apart? https://usc.rivals.com/commitments/football/2025
They made a splash with some high profile out of state 5 stars....they have started losing them and that looks to continue. So there is some falling apart. What UF has or doesn't have in it's class really has nothing to do with the status of USC's class.
What does USC's class falling apart have to do with our number of recruits? I see no correlation. Should we praise every other teams recruiting because we have few recruits?
I believe we are interested in at least one of the players who decommitted, and very interested in one that is still committed but said to be wavering. I think it’s relevant that their class seems vulnerable.
And that's fine. For me, Jax is an hour and a half from Hogtown. We should be there every week, minimum. No reason other than ridiculous money that a Jax player should go to USC. fsu, Clemson, georgia are much bigger threats than a school in California. Rivals says he has a visit with miami this weekend. Remember when Mullen was our HC and there was no indication we even visited Jax? Pitiful.
Because they have/had some east coast players we wanted. Our class on the other hand hasn't lost any players from the Westcoast that they want so like others said there's no correlation between two yet one matters to the other while the other doesn't matter to one..
There’s Also, the possibility of kids that would rather be in Miami or LA then a small town like Gainesville. It’s not for everybody.
Distance often comes to play as signing day approaches. HS kids miss home, family, …they can’t see as often. Can’t easily go him on weekend.
Apparently you care....since you opened, read and have posted multiple times in a clearly labeled thread. And obviously this impacts UF re Stubbs
I do care. I follow recruiting. I'm more interested in the 7 SEC schools in the top 20, including Auburn who had a terrible season but already in the top 10. But yeah, Stubbs.
