Not saying dishonest at all... but I tend to believe GatorCountry might be the driving force behind all of this...hard to stop the most successful thread of all time
i am a gator. Graduated in Dec. 2001. a few days(weeks) later i stood in driveway in NE Gainesville washing my car at my house as i heard the radio tell me SOS was gone. i FOUND this place(gatorcountry) in middle of 2002 season with Zook in pursuit of Leak and a great class. Been a member ever since. Don’t post much. Moved to DeLand, a hop jump and step from hogtown a semester later after wife graduated from vet school. we bleed orange and blue. Finally season ticket holders after 2010. Have been since. i love this place. Never let me down no matter how good we were at the time or how bad. My wife took many years to move beyond a fan to a freak but she’s close in the last few. She loved Meyer’s gators but always said he ain’t a fit here. She called Muschamp way before me and way before Ga. Southern. She hated Mac, but gave him a chance, from the get go, said he sounded like a snake oil salesman. In hindsight she was right every time.She stops short of being a member here but always asks what’s happening on gatorcountry. Then i read her the interesting things that gator nation is sounding off on. We adore our school. Go to all the games! we make a good living, although I’m a K-8 art teacher, ♂️remember she’s a vet, a gator vet, In 2013 i was so gone i wanted to drop our tickets but she said hell no, even thou she was done with CWM way before me. She said the same this year as i lost hope in another coach. She reminded me that it has nothing to do with the coach. We are gators. We love to come. Relive our lives here. We love the city, although to a small town boy from South Carolina it will always be a town. We love Gainesville, we love the swamp, we love to love the gators. So, long story short, every night now she asks how is that thread going, how is the search going....... i’ve informed her of all of our lunacy. All of our passion. The serious, the absurd, the webcam. And yesterday her father, 72, professor at Stetson of 5o years, an amazing man of 72 years that had gotten sick the week before. Standard vomit stomach flu thing. well it cont. until last night he seemed worse and my wife, an amazing doctor said get him to shands now, despite local hospital telling him he’s fine just bug. 24 hours later he is recovering from a ruptured appendix no one found and could have killed him. So she has been there since and called tonight and said Dad is fine, is Coach Chip Kelly our coach yet? then said come tomorrow and bring our tickets we will need a break from Shands and watch our gators. I think the point of this whole thing is that gators are the BEST fans ever, but, we just want the best. Get er done SS! Hire Coach Chip Kelly!
I'd settle for a date. LOL. Instead I need to start getting kids ready for bed & then get to bed myself. One of the few perks of divorce -- I can sleep in the middle of the bed LOL

Dude, most of us don't pretend to know what's going on. We are hoping for an excellent coach and a good outcome. In the meantime we are trying to make the best of an anxious situation - and in some cases (not me of course) are making feeble attempts at humor. . . and there are a few piks of Gator and CK supporting coeds.
