I think he means he's very surprised at Smith's visit.

Just so you know, both the guys in this thread were recruited hard by their peers. Dexter recruited Smith and Mincy, Leonard and others including CDR were in Walkers ear.

Cash usually wins over location. Of course with a shithole like twittown, it takes more than usual.

Thx. I’ve been hit and miss in here for the last few months so it’s hard to derive meaning some times. It’s baseball season after all and my braves need a no 1 starter and some bullpen help badly. Needless to say I’ve been refreshing every 30 mins and will continue to do so until 4pm tomorrow

I don't know if he will decommit as he seemed to be looking to be able to commit to Clemson first and then Georgia or Alabama, so he could have been looking to get out of the state all along. However once making a commitment and hearing from family members how infrequently they will get home and how infrequently family will get to games and what things will be missed while out of state, some family oriented kids re-assess their options.

But probably the biggest consideration is that he has to know Jarez Parks, also recruited to Bama from Sebastian River. Jarez committed to Bama in '17, and at his announcement was in tears because Saban told him he had to greyshirt. Consequently when he might have been on his second year of starting or playing heavily for us, he has not seen a lick of playing time with Bama. Smith could just be showing Saban that he will keep his options open to the very end in case Saban tries to pull that **** on him.

My recollection was that Park's Junior film looked poor, but part of that was injury. His senior year he liked an animal on the field and off and deserved his almost top 100 status. I would compare him to a bigger David Reese the younger, one of the first you wanted off the bus. Whether he developed at all at Bama, I have no idea.

Wasn't a take for any of the big 3, overrated. I have a buddy that lives down that way, his boys played ball with him, wasn't very good.

I can buy that he was overrated but I can't buy that he was no good. He would be in the portal already if he was no good. Saban doesn't put up with scholarships being wasted on non-contributors. He also has some serious wheels for a guy his size.

I guess we will see if he finally sees the field.
