Interesting take by pundits this year - With some suggesting they could be the "New" Indiana this season. Look at their schedule. Gee, I wish UF had that schedule. Some think the Heels could easily go 10-2. While I am no Tar heel fan, it will be interesting to see what coach Belichick accomplishes this year. It is hard not to acknowledge the mans coaching chops. I did not realize they had such a favorable schedule. I prefer the Heels to FSU or Miami every day of the week though.
Clemson? Syracuse and Duke might put up a fight. Out of those schools, only Clemson is for sure a tough game. Not so sure about TCU and Wake Forest this year, but NO Miami and NO FSU is interesting.
UNC has had a MAJOR roster turnover, similar to Colorado when Sanders took over. It will be interesting to see how it works out for them.
Like I posted, look at that schedule, (thanks ET) - SMH, If they are even close to good they may make the playoffs. (probably should) If they move to the SEC as some are suggesting, they are in for a rude awakening.
Carolina will lose 3 or 4 games. They lost their whole roster and hired an NFL coach that may not even get the college game. (Girlfriend notwithstanding. ) I think they go 8-4.
Depends on if hes supported and can hire a top notch staff and get the talent necessary. Brady is like getting tebow as our oc, no reason to believe that would be a good thing. Is he more i terested in little girls than football would be the biggest concern.
I doubt UNC could "touch" Fox's salary to Tom. He probably makes more than the entire UNC staff combined. Regarding your last sentence I will just leave that alone.
However , Tom is a great qb and never has been an oc. Im more talking about if nc invests enough to compete with hiring a legit staff. Brady wouldnt be on my list unless it was in regard to recruiting. They have never been dedicated before but much like vandy, there are deep pockets if they commit to winning. Ive always expected a few new players at the top when this pay for play thing shakes out. We will see if Bill still has the fire though, i question his dedication but we will soon see if he has the gastank for the longhaul.
That schedule is just so soft though. They won't care regardless. All they care about is the sport that you and I get to brag about winning the chip, everywhere we go in this beautiful state
