Ther Mercer Bears are 9-12 with wins over Dayton, Drexel (2), Georgia State, Morehead State (2), Bryant, North Carolina A&T and Longwood. Losses to Dayton, Georgia Southern, Troy, Bryant, Georgia Tech, Gardner-Webb (2), Binghamton, Florida A&M, Clemson, Fordham & Kennesaw State. They play Indiana at 3:30 before playing the Gators 30 minutes or so after that game is over. It is on ESPN+. They are batting .274 as a team with 21 HR, 70 BB and 107 K's. Team ERA is 3.79 and are fielding at .963.

 

I came by KSP about 30 minutes ago, and Mercer was stretching.

Mercer is playing Indiana right now. Started at 3:30. Mercer up 3-0, bottom 2nd.

 

Indiana beat Mercer 8-4. Game ended around 5:20, so hopefully our game will start on time.

I was sure Olivia would have started this game. Maybe we will see her coming in to close tonight.

 

We are seeing Mia sitting more and more. We can't say CTW hasn't given her a chance to prove herself in the box. I'm sure everyone is stumped how such a great travel club hitter has just fizzled at the plate. Perhaps sitting will reprime her swing. Personally I think she will explode at some point. I would like to hear CTW's analysis.

I guess Coach Walton is sticking with his normal Friday, Saturday, Sunday pitching rotation, but I would have thought Miller might have started this game against Mercer.
