Runners on 2nd and 3rd. No outs. Wallace, Jocelyn, and Otis coming up and we get no runs… didn’t see that coming at all.

Kentucky just doesn't have any pitching and Rothrock & Brown have shut down their really good offense. Even with that horribly inconsistent ump behind the plate today, Brown got it done. And our offense is flat out dangerous. Great to see Mia Williams getting home runs in back to back days. Excellent game and a 1 hitter from Ava.

Missouri beat LSU 3-2. They beat 'em last night 10-9, so LSU is now 4-4 in the SEC.

Our offense is on fire at the moment. Kentucky pitching isn't the greatest but also isn't just flat out horrible. It wasn't like we were scoring everything on errors or walks. Just flat out hitting.

Our girls are playing great, no doubt. I really thought Kentucky would keep these games close. The Wildcats are in trouble!

McLellan is getting great experience against SEC pitching. However, when Walsh plays 3rd base, I look for Baylee Goddard to get more time as the DP. She's always gotten on base a lot via walks and HBP, is experienced, a team leader and does have power.

I'd like to see McClellan continue to get chances. The only downside to Goddard for me is she strikes out a lot also against better pitching.

I agree that McLellan is probably our RF next year and any experience she gets will help her future. But she had a bad day today - 2 K's and a pop out, leaving 7 runners stranded over 3 different innings. We'll see how Coach Walton handles things when we get to the meat of our schedule. Kowalewski or Walsh at 3rd, McLellan or Goddard at DP. Maybe situational? It seems, though, that with all the talented players, they're all invested in each other5 and the team, accepting whatever role they're given - at least so far.

Yea they seem really bought in.... honestly whoever is hot at the time. Any of them are capable of really showing out I think. We all posted before the season about how our seniors would have to fight for playing time. Katie Kistler put her hat in the ring and is running with it.
