I know December 2021 is a long way away but can we PLEASE lock him up!!!!
He ran a 10.67 at the Steinbrenner invitational Feb of this year to take first. He beat Arian Smith in the finals at that meet. Arian Smith as most of you I'm sure recall was a WR target for the Gators, before ultimately signing with UGA. I've also said I believe Arian drops football eventually to pursue a track career, so yeah if he's beating Arian Smith as a HS soph in the 100, I'd say he has the kind of elite speed the Gators don't really have at this point! I'm going to have to do some more looking at this young man!
This young man has pure WR written all over him, has a very long stride so its hard to really gauge how quick he is. I will say unlike Arian who was playing against nobody at Mulberry HS before transferring over to Lakeland for his senior year. This young man is seeing some pretty good competition in Hillsborough County and dominated as a soph. I can see him drawing all the big schools before all is said and done.
Kinda like Jeff Driskel
Man...that poor kid. Got full on Chumped like no other.
Different kind of Willies - similar result I guess
big time!! Knew this was coming at some point
Not only a great commitment, but a big time need.
I would have LOVED to see driskel with Mullen as his coach smh
Don’t know how credible it is but there’s talk of Jeremiah Williams making a decision within the next day or two and that we may have taken the lead from auburn.
Heard that too but a lot of smoke it's safety talk about Collier and Arnold
I was on Twitter and there is some hype that all 5 Palmetto going to Miami.
That banter b/w Gator fans and Hurricane fans has been going on for a few weeks. Miami fans claim all five are coming to the U. The five Palmetto kids are constantly stirring the pot -- they love the attention.
It's going to be impossible for all five to live up to the hype. I predict Taylor has by far the best college career.
All signs point to Collier to UF, but we've been played before. Unsure of Collins and UF but Miami aint really big on him at the moment. Marshall is the wildcard. He's been tight-lipped on showing any signs on where he's leaning
Collier and Arnold? I really didn’t think Arnold was that interested in us.
Seems like a boom or bust class we can either finish with a fantastic DB class AND DL class with 5 and 4 stars in both (taylor, marshall, collier, collins, langston) or...... we get none of that..... really could go either way. so stressful lol
Is Marshall announcing tomorrow (Saturday)? A few weeks ago he tweeted "August 1st" but then deleted it within 15 minutes. I can't find anything on Twitter so I'm assuming the answer is no but wanted to check.
Is it just me or does anyone else feel like the Palmetto 5 may represent a huge
determinant of our future success in S Florida.
Damn, I hate to see the Canes load up.
Silly question but would we take all 5 ........ if.....necessary?
(I know its unlikely, just asking)
True, but at the same time, it's not really our fault.
Nobody complains about being unable to pull kids out of Athens, GA, or Tuscaloosa, AL, or College Station, TX, or Tallahassee, FL? Teams greatly benefit from being the home team.
Miami isn't pulling 5-stars out of Gainesville. They're pulling them out of Miami. Why is that now considered a great feat?
