Well they actually played a few ranked teamed that year but some of those ranked teams ie: Penn st and Michigan had some questionable losses or were blown out . But to lose a Purdue team with a losing record by 29 points is crazy and they were still "considered" one of the best. All in all we got the ranking we got and probably don't deserve any better because we did lose 4 games counting that bowl game. But it was fun seeing the offense rolling like it was. Nostalgic
Honest question. Who would we realistically be able to get that is a home run hire at DC. I'm not as familiar with all the assistants around the country. I'm all for upgrading, I'd just hate to start a coaching carousel at coordinator positions. We've yearned for continuity for awhile and wouldn't mind upgrading , but I'm just not sure how many viable and available coaches are out there that would be a noticeable improvement.
I'm not sure we need a homerun hire. How about just a guy who can have a solid recruiting plan and a functional and reliable defense. We should always have the talent here to be respectable.
I think the media likes to pretend that the big 10 plays serious football. If you think OSU would have won more games this year with our schedule, I dont know what to say. We lost 3 sec games so didnt deserve to make the playoffs T A&M lost one and would have easily beat OSU, Notre Dame and Climpson.
I read that twice and realized the information age should be renamed the dis or misinformation age.you can read something anywhere on there internet, especially for or twitter, and bet the opposite is true. You will win more than you lose.
Ill try and keep this thread Gator recruiting related and other notable recruits and/or team related.
