You guys are some brave cnts. I wouldn’t have it in me to cut on my eyes.
Hope that vacation was worth it....
Seems it may have been a working vacation. Things still happened and we have no idea what’s been going on behind the scenes. I’m not too worried at this point. I’ll withhold judgement until after these hires.
Best money ever spent. 20 years with no regression.
Honestly though Urban is really f***ing us here. I mean it’s Urban + NFL vs. Mullen but if Mullen would punt that garbage dead weight Grantham and make Ash the DC we wouldn’t be competing. Urban isn’t coming out of the gate with college coordinators, he knows he needs NFL guys, so Ash is getting a position coach job at Jax. If we competed with a legit DC offer we would have had a chance.
Instead we’re going to miss on Ash, lost CRob and get some leftovers at S/LB. My only hope is we separate Texas’s LB coach from Ash to replace CRob and maybe find a good recruiter/coach from a lower level P5, but IMO it’s probably slim pickings right now because the best would have been hired away already.
Jacoby Mathews, Ponchatoula, Safety
For many of us who lived with horrible vision it was a wonderful thing to get the surgery. I lived on Hollywood Beach (Florida) at the time and that night just looked up at stars I could never see. Buried my coke bottle specs two feet deep on the beach. (Not that I ever wore them, I was a contact lens guy).
now if only they had a pill that would fix my baldness I would be set.
Seen a lot of folks wanting Travis Williams (auburn) for linebackers coach. Sadly I haven’t seen any publication/site provide any real list of candidates.
My sister had lasik and she’s been great ever since. I think it’s awesome for you guys for real. Just wigs me out thinking of someone cutting on my eyes.
They numb you good before and you don't feel anything. I'll tell you what though, the first few hours post surgery is hell on Earth because your eyes sting like you have chlorine in them but once it wears off, you'll be fine. Idk what everyone else paid for it but I financed $3500
Yall don’t remember these terrible edits from 7 years ago lol
my god how long we have come in edits for recruits lol
That’s just awful
In 1995 I was at a big Gator game when one contact came out, that was the final straw. Got lasik next spring, 25 years later was easily the best money spent of my lifetime.
My wife would say the same. Regretted she didn't do it sooner. No issues.
$2900 for both eyes about 13 years ago. Best decision I've ever made. And you're right, it stings like a bitch. I went to sleep for hours. When I woke up the sting went away.
I hear you Bobby but I think Dan has some things in the works but I will say this as far as:
Give him a B+ so far
here’s the kicker… If we hire Travis Williams we’ve upgraded our defensive coaching staff in a major way. McGriff to me is an upgrade and TWill is a very good hire. I will agree with you though there is nothing as far as inside information indicating anything about this hire yet. Hope is what we have as it makes so much sense.
we gotta convince Urb to take Hev lol
