My guess is that it will continue to be situational. It's pretty rare that it happens as it is. Situations do change though, for both sides. In sports other than football, the spots are filled quickly, so your spot may be gone before you've found a new home. In football, a lot of times things could be worked out if it makes sense for both sides simply because of the amount of scholarships available.

 

Just ONE currently ranked team on that schedule. Two after they play Louisville.
