I pay no attention to those sites. These sites are bought and paid for by the subscribers for other teams. You commit to them and your ratings go up. That is how these kids that live in their parents basement pay their bills
247 said that no one changed his ranking but he dropped in the composite - because rivals had no ranking for him until after he committed to Florida. Rivals is part of the composite rating and their lower initial ranking (which was added after he committed) dropped the total composite. (Rivals non ranking was not in the composite). Don’t know if true but that was their explanation.
Good thing is....I just use the recruiting rankings/sites as a means to get through the offseason and for talking points. Billy has shown (and i'm only using UF because I don't worry about other teams commits to THAT degree) that he's a TOP NOTCH evaluator so rankings be damned. I don't see a "miss" yet as far as the kids who's he brought in via HS recruiting his first two cycles that have gotten extended playing time. Only "miss" would be Kamari and he's been relegated to the bench for Castell and Mitchell
After going though some data and reviewing clips, is anyone here informed as to why he's being recruited as a RB? Stats thus far this season show him being used more in the passing game, than as a RB, (In fact after 4 games he's only had 13 carries this season). The clips I've looked at in as far as from the RB position, are limited primarily to goal line situations. As a soph last year he had his best time in the 100 at 11.11, which to me makes it probable he'll be running sub 11 second times in the 100 by the time he gets to his senior season. He also ran on the 4X100 team too last year. Too me at this point it just seems to me, his recruitment seems to be based more on projections, based on his size and athletic ability already as a soph? Thoughts anyone?
