Crazy to see all the "must gets" that we missed out on transferring everywhere. Stevenson, Avantae, Sanders, Bowman, Harris, Mcall, etc

Of course I also see guys we missed on doing well or even in the NFL despite "having interest" in us like petit Frere, Tim Smith, Perkins, etc

See this is where Bama and Georgia have been killing it though. They drop the dead weight and filter through a new set of elite prospects. Bama was especially known for processing out players like an NFL franchise. Lots of people give Bama a pass and cheer for them as a lesser evil representative for the SEC but I never saw it that way. I think Saban and Bama started the mess that we have now with their complete sell out to win at all costs and out talent everyone through any means necessary.

I know. No one asked for my rant.

Business decisions are what the kids call it.

Yes but Bama was making the business decisions by processing out kids. At one point between their processing and our under 85 rosters they had processed an entire class more I believe than we had in a 4 year period. It just irks me that all the praise Is about their "discipline " when it was largely a numbers game. When they ran amok without any ncaa oversight they were set up better than the Yankees because they could cut ties with players with no repercussions and buy the next class. I mean look what happens when some schools go that route...Ole miss....Miss.....

Georgia is now bragging about not relying on any transfers. Easy to do when you stack 5 stars at tight end, qb, rb lb etc etc. Underperform? See ya and enter the next class. Some of that is just recruiting but no programs recruit that level year in and year out for that long without skirting the rules.

Can someone let me know what the tweet was about and the effects from it? I gathered it was something about NIL and maybe locker room issues surrounding it. I'm interested in these things and how they play out. Please inform me if you can

Dang, if thats actually true and there isnt more to the story, I wonder if other programs might try to call staff members that they like, and try go get them to come work for them. If I'm a team like Michigan or Ohio State and I see a staff member from Michigan State that I particularly like, whether it be an assistant coach, someone in recruiting or personnel, or graphics or anything, I would use this as a means to try to get them. "Your head coach/boss just got a CRAZY good contract because y'all had one good year, and he didnt share the bonus that was supposed to be split with y'all. We dont do things like that over here, we appreciate our staff, would you be interested in working for us?" If its true, surely the staff wouldnt be too pleased with Tucker. This would be an interesting story to follow

Tucker got a new $95mil fully guaranteed contract and does this, yikes indeed. That 5-7 he posted this season should make Sparty a bit salty too.

    I totally agree with this...

I remember hinting that we might be better off using the Kirby and Saban model of processing... and damn near got ostracized for it. Lol... my how times have changed, especially with the portal and the NIL now above board.

With all these guys going into the portal and NIL era got me thinking… How many of these kids are going to look back and regret trolling schools that they had offers from? Reality is these kids are here today gone tomorrow with the new rules. Gonna suck when they burn that bridge!
