I don't get why someone would post this crap. This guy has been our best recruiter, including Billy Napier. This guy is going to be the star who started it all.

Probably a bulldog fan pretending he's a gator fan to make gators look bad. Or maybe he really is a jackass gator fan.

This poster (GatorGreat) Already admitted that he copied and pasted a UGA fan... He personally said so in 247...

I don't know if he did copy an UGA fan like he says, but he's getting hammered over there for his baseless, erroneous statement about Kamari Wilson. Wilson is not going anywhere but to Gainesville... paraphrasing Wilson.

    Napier is 5' 9".
Therefore, it seems Hayden Hansen is a little shy of the 6' 5" his profile claims.

Someone posted earlier that Napier might be offering guys like Hansen a chance to walk-on. I agree.

For those who say "I really like his film" (to just about all recruits): please note what you are watching are HIGHLIGHTS. Of course you're going to really like his film. Those are the very best plays of that player for the entire year.

What I saw when I watched Hansen was a hand-on-the-ground TE (another Odom or Livingston). Danny Lewis and Arlis Boardingham are better athletes and probably better pass catching threats. However, with Napier's desire to run the ball, I can see why he has interest in Hansen (although I hate the way he tucked his head to brace for impact).

yeah, film is a bunch of garbage.

I want to see what a player does on kick off, kick return, and punt team. That will tell you all you need to know about a kid, especially a star player.

That poster is also getting torn a new one on TOS. Rightfully so. Everyone wants attention apparently, even rando posters on a recruiting board for high school kids it seems.

Absolutely relentless recruiting. No stone left unturned. There’s a new sheriff in town and his name is Billy Napier. Recruiting which was meh for a while is back to awesome again. Not too shabby for a Tuesday.

I don't disagree with your point, but kids are motivated differently. Some kids look at the depth chart and if they don't think they'll start right away, they'll look elsewhere. Those kids are still going to work their way to the lower level schools.

But there are a bunch of other kids that look at a depth chart and don't care who's ahead of them and think they'll beat everyone out and prove they're the best. They don't see themselves as a 3 star. Also, except for the truly elite players, I think most players know they probably aren't going to play as a true freshman.

I agree that things will probably work their way back to a more tempered norm, but it you look at NIL, with kids having huge contracts without even playing a down of college football, there's going to be some crazy sh!t going down the next few years and these kids have a LOT more options now. I think it's a really bad thing.

But I can definitely see some kids looking at that first year and thinking practicing or being on the scout team for a year under Nick Saban or some other coach/program, is going to pay bigger dividends down the road than practicing at an AAC school. And there are very likely some of those kids who end up being superstars down the road.
