Put everything out in the open in full view for everyone to see. Teams should have to publish a roster of exactly what each player receives(ed) in NIL (wink-wink..) compensation. Make it all transparent, eliminate the cloak of secrecy.
I would not enjoy being a college coach or a staffer in the football department right now. Their livelihood is tied to this crap and they are practically powerless to do anything about it. They make a lot of money but can you imagine having to deal with the player, their money-grubbing family member AND their agent? AND THEN ... you get the crazies on social media blasting you as incompetent. No thanks.
I’ve thought about this often. Props to Napier, I wouldn’t deal with this circus even for his salary.
This is true. Our stretch of the beach up here in the Pensacola area and east and west of us is referred to as lower Alabama or maybe the Redneck Riviera . There’s a reason for that but we’re way more of a beach town than Gainesville is.
Yea...UT says he's a silent. They said the same thing about Arch b4 he committed. Seems to be a texas and AM battle with the Florida schools next. Plans to commit on August 10th.
December is a long way. I will be elated if we sign him. I guess A&M has the wrap down and aside from paying well they have some great OL commits the past few seasons to talk about.
Or maybe Beamer is building something special? After Spurrier, our facilities are second to none. His recruiting is been really great lately, and it has nothing to NIL money. QB Spencer Rattler has come out and said NIL had nothing to do with coming to USC. He just wanted to play for Beamer. You remember Spencer, right? From the 2020 Cotton Bowl?
Rattler stunk it up and lost his job. Attitude too? Not exactly winning a recruiting battle getting him. And everyone is paying or they aren’t recruiting.
. . . and we know Rashada and company also had to come out with a special statement that NIL had nothing to do with his recruiting. Nobody believes a word of it either.
