They can’t and I think you’re right, but for elite talent at skill positions this will prob be the case more often than not.

Point taken but you're comparing Miami with one of the purportedly highest spending programs now. Also, sleezball ruiz stepped into the game this year. I'd also argue if a kid is going to travel from another state to a new and unusual place Miami may seem a little more like what they would expect in florida with the beach and a city. Gainesville feels more like country than beachy florida. I loved my time in Gainesville but it's not for everybody. Even a 2 hour drive to ormond felt like a different world

All said and done, Let's see how this year's classes shake out.

To my point, looks like jimbo figured out how to sell a college town to millionaires (even if it’s just bigger bags).

Imagine even a handful of players in Miami (or anywhere really) with lots of cash. You're either hated by your teammates or you spread the joy and limp onto the field on Saturday.

Maintaining discipline and unity just got 1000 times harder for staffs.some are going to fail in epic fashion.

Of course... for "some"... But not for all.

I think having these high school players/recruits on campus during gamedays might be underestimated too... ;)

A kid’s chances of getting in trouble with a lot of money are much greater in Miami than a place like Gainesville.

I have posted this "type" of concern multiple times.

Player "A", Freshman QB, whom is rated a 5 star out of H.S., gets a 2 million NIL deal, but does not start nor play much his first year. Maybe even transfers at the end of the year.

Player "B", say a Jr, whom was rated as a 3 star out of H.S., with an NIL deal worth, say, $12,000. Developed in the program, Exploded his Jr. year for 100 tackles and is a key factor in UF winning the SEC East with an INT, TD return against UGA.

How does this work................?? Does the Jr get a "raise"? What if he goes pro B4 his senior year?

More importantly, what does this do to the locker room??

I'm sorry, I just don't see how this will not create some serious locker room issues on ANY team. This example is not exactly unrealistic either, players do hang around, develop and have great Jr. or Sr years.

This ties into my BEEF that University Presidents, SEC decision makers and Athletic Directors have created a completely CORRUPT system to placate the insanity revolving around OVER-HYPED, UN-PROVEN and UN-TESTED 5 star and high 4 star H.S. players.

WHY? Why is it so unevenly skewed to favor just a few over the sacrifices of the many?

I don't think all of the rumors are true. No way that we offered that kid $11M (and he turned us down for a lower offer of $9.5MM).

TBH, I'm just not ready for my school to have to pay that much money to a single player. Will I cave in a season or two? Perhaps. But for now, let scUM potentially waste their money. Give us a three star Kyle Trask mode type and train him to reach his potential.

It seems they have no choice but to pay players to come there.
